Folks,

Could you give me some advice please? I installed the coils and shocks from a Rubi on my Sport yesterday but did not change out the links. I am having difficulty removing the top bolt from the links. They just spin. I put an allen wrench in the end and it still one budge. I plan on getting some penetrating lube to help break them free but any advice?

Thanks!

I think there may be a spot for a regular open ended wrench but you shouldn't have to change end links, as far as I know they are the same sport to rubicon

The Rubi ones are longer and I am using an open end wrench but the bolt just spins. When using the allen wrench in the end of the bolt I can not get enough leverage to break it free.

Are you using the allen and an open end together? you should be holding the threaded end with the allen while you break the nut free with the open end wrench.

I maned up and got them swapped. I tried to take measurements but could not get an accurate reading. They appear to be slightly off. The Rubis have MI2B printed on both them. My sport passenger was MKPA and drivers was MKOB.
