I talked about it a little bit, got sidetracked a little bit, but overall you got potentially 9 minutes (3 minutes each video) where I try and show you the body roll that my Jeep has. :like:

Nice! Mine looks to be about the same or less! Definitely not reconnecting them. The traffic I sit in with 2 naval bases and a shipyard on my way home takes me 45 minutes to drive 12 miles. It’s like 4mph max until my exit which is 4 exits from my highway entrance. And then a pretty steep grade then flattens out and then my exit is probably 500meters from there then it’s 35mph road for 1 mile. So yeah I think I’ll be fine. I mean I drove 200 mile to Oregon a few weeks ago with them disconnected then drove home. So 400 miles plus the driving around in Oregon and I didn’t want to put them on but like I said fear of damaging other parts had me thinking I should so I did. And then Saturday took them off for the trail and had me thinking to ask this question!

@Tredsdert, the death wobble was my main concern. The body roll doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I just hate messing with them on and off the trail and I’ve been to lazy to reconnect them. I might do as you did and just remove the whole thing. I’m only at 6800 miles. If I have to take it to the stealership for any warranty work I’ll just slap it back on!
That's definitely a good idea. Especially if you don't plan on keeping your Wrangler forever. Keeping the spare parts is probably good thing. Me personally I'm going to drive my Jeep till it breaks and then I'll rebuild it and then I'll keep driving it,

Yeah the only time that I had any issues with the death wobble was right after I upgraded to a 1.5" lift, and was messing around with my steering stabilizer at the time. Beyond that I've never had any issues with the suspension system at all. And then after the fact once I got my steering stabilizer stabilized, I haven't had any issues since as well.

in a short 2 door if you never have to worry about a higher speed emergency evasive maneuver ie driving 60mph+ and all of sudden have something fall off a truck in your lane of traffic....don't worry about it....

I've heard the term "Roundabout" before. Not sure where I picked up the term "Rotary" from. 🤷‍♂️

According to Google (AI), "Rotary" is the US term versus "Roundabout" being the British terminology. I've heard both.

You could find someone offloading their electronic swaybar and just purchase this. Extremely simple to use. I have 2 sway bars off my JLURD and my 392, I think one of them even has longer endlinks from my metalcloack lift on my previous rig. Stop by if your ever in Vegas and you can have one of them.

On my first rig (JTM), I did have the apex which worked fine but did come loose every so often. Coulda shoulda used some blue loctite I guess.

I'm not the OP but I'm still undecided on what I'm doing about my swaybar situation. If you have Rubi swaybar sitting around you are offering free I'd take you up on that for sure though. I'll be passing through Vegas around Sept 18th. :)

I often run around disconnected ( electro disco with Tazer hack). Some of our infrastructure is no better than the trails… Keep in mind, I’m on a lift with adjustable shocks that I run a little firmer on the highway….I’ve taken evasive maneuvers at 60 in mine for deer, or roadkill and it was fine, but I don’t think I would do it in a stocker……If the roll doesn’t bother you, then maybe look into running an Antirock sway bar…..
Doesnt the Tazer re connect over 30mph

i think swaykill is a live function that you can map to one of the cruise control buttons. I havent done it but my understanding is you can turn it off and it stays off until you hit the button again to turn it on.

Not if you re-map the switch….. I have mine remapped to the resume button of the cruise control on the steering wheel… if you use that button to disconnect then it will stay disconnected until you hit the switch again or shut off the engine….you can go as fast as you want…..

YouTube is the only thing that makes up for their shitty instruction. Search for Z automotive button remapping and/or live functions. Then again I still don’t know how to use JSCAN correctly
