Just removed the warning label stickers from both visors. Used my hair dryer on high. Took about 15 minutes to do both visors. No residue left behind. Get them hot enough and they peel right off. :clap:

Can you see an outline where it used to be though

It will probably fade and blend in in time I'm sure it's better than having that big sticker on there I'll be taking mine off too as soon as I get my JL

So, I couldn't stand looking at the white/yellow factory warning stickers on my sun visors driving down the road. Therefore, I decided to remove them and was actually surprised how easy it was. For those interested, just take a blow dryer, heat the sticker up (don't go too hot) and start pealing from the corner and once started, the whole sticker pealed off in one piece. It looks so much better, and while there is still a slight hint that the sticker was there, it's much cleaner looking. I can only assume the sticker came off that easily since my rig is new and the sticker hadn't been on the visor through a hot summer, or lengthy period of time.

I noticed you didn't get that black head liner foam board either. up on the panels its like almost 500 to have some real thin foam board thats just Velcro on for noise and help cool it off. i didn't have before or the soft tops cant have it so didn't waste my money on it. buts thats just my opinion on it but any way i will try this when i get my JL. I tried it on my JK but a few years had gone by. like you said you probably have to do it when its still new. i have a heat gun but i am afraid i would probably melt the visor with a heat gun lol

Goo gone will work but too harsh and may adversely affect the visor. Have not tried WD 40. I always use rubbing alcohol and it works like a charm with no damage or residue left behind. I usually have to make several passes as the glue is slow to dissolve.
What about goo gone professional strength its twice as strong and better ?will it work better ? it does on everything else i have used it on

Took mine off the other day. Didn't peel easily, but got em off with some work. Letting them sit in the sun was more effective than the blow dryer. Looks so much better... though if somehow a baby in a car seat not wearing a seat belt gets smushed by an airbag while the Jeep rolls over, the peeled off warnings can say, "I told you so."

@kplong02

Yes, I also took mine off. Took them off about 3+ months ago when I first got the JL 2dr.. Yes, you can see the outline where the sticker was. However, it is not that noticeable. Sure way better to occasionally notice a slight outline then to have those big frigging warning stickers ALWAYS staring me and my passenger in the face.

We bought the decals that over those and instead of black because you can still see the outline of a decal there we had that guy on face book PIXEL DECALS and we had the letters Rubicon in red to match the seats and it looks like t was put there from the factory, I really like it

@pixeldecals is a sponsor here. LONG ago a few forum members asked them to come up with a decal to cover up the visor warning on a JL and they never followed through......ahhhh, guess they did come up with a decal per you, but again, pixeldecals never mentioned it here. @Jammer , do you have a link to this offering.. if so please post for those that might be interested.

yes he was great to work with kept in touch with me all the time talk to him about once or twice a week till I got it we were going to do just black and I mention the Rubicon and he liked it so much i think he did it on his also. It looks better in person. It looks like it's supposed to be there from the factory because it matches the Rubicon on the seats

I went ahead and order a set of just Black also. When I got them the Rubicon looked better. I just hate that yellow and white on there anything would look better than that

I liked it so much I just got through ordering an extra set with a Rubicon on it. Can't beat it for $10 with free shipping. Go to vinyl shop they'll charge you 3 times as much I looked I know
