Has anyone found a fix for this rattle? . This is on a '23 Rubicon.
Yes, the bolt is fully tightened. The bracket is poorly designed and the bolt only attaches one side of it. The other side is held in place by a plastic tab that goes into a hole in the body. The hole is much bigger than the tab so the bracket does not sit flush with the body, causing the rattle. The other side is exactly the same.
I tried applying some adhesive foam to the body where the bracket comes in contact with it and it made things a little better, but rattle is caused mostly by the tab hitting the opening in the body.
