I am looking to buy either the Mopar Bull Bar (Mopar: 82215351) or the Maximus 3 Bull Bar (Model JL1008SB). Preferable location would be SE Texas, but if priced right, I might entertain shipping cost.
I have a JLUR (with a hard top) that has a 2" Mopar lift and 37" cooper stt pros. The total height of my jeep is 77". My garage (standard) height is 81" so i have 4" to spare.
I have 5 Cooper STT Pros for sale. 315x70x17.
4 tires have 1500 miles, spare has 0. Upgraded to 37's, so no need for these.
$1200 for all 5, Tires are in NW Houston. Will entertain shipping at buyers expense.
Only tip I have for that side is take the three D-Loop hooks (one t-45 bolt per hook) out before trying to remove the speaker box assembly (which is what I am calling it)
once you get the hooks removed, move the piece out of the way.
The speaker and plastic trim are all one assembly, so...
There are two T50 bolts on the bottom of the front belts. One for the ratchet assembly, and one for some other piece (air bag sensor, I think). Yes, they are super tight, and all the bolts have loc-tite on them. My husband ended up using a 1/2" ratchet to break them loose, and it was still super...
I never did take my jeep in for this issue. Rear switches for back windows started randomly working about 2 months ago. Will see if it continues that way, so far so good. I do not have passengers in the back much so i was not to worried about it.
The front two are not too involved at all. Pop off plastic trim below door, and unbolt the three bolts per side.
The rear outer two are a bit more involved, but not terrible. It requires most of the plastic in the rear to come off to unbolt.
The middle seat belt is about to drive me insane...
Does anyone know how to get the middle seat belt out?
Is the only way to peel leather back all the way to th front to remove the assembly?
I can get to the screw to unbolt it, and see the t handle, but can't get to assembly.
Also, do the plastic trim pieces around the car seat anchors...
Yes, you can. I just ordered the Rough Country Kit. (http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep-jl-led-30in-hood-kit-70048c.html)
there are a couple others that use the hood hinge bolts as well.
