does anyone have a "fool" proof way to remove the visor stickers?
i've seen most of the videos options, rubbing alcohol or heat gun, but they seem kind of hit and miss. i tried a hair dyer and it did nothing, maybe not hot enough.
hate those stickers !
duct tape color of choice.

I have had great success with the 3M auto adhesive remover. Have not used it inside, but based on what I read on it I think it would work. You can do a test case, but it definitely helped a ton when I was removing adhesive from vinyl decals.

The first thing I do, whenever I get a new vehicle, is to remove the dealership sticker and license plate frames. No free advertising for me! My latest Wrangler had a huge sticker across the back window. A little hair dryer action and it was gone.

I have CDO . . . it's like OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be!!!

Spare a thought for the three-pedal Jeep owners. The numerical gear display for gears 1 through 5 are perfectly vertical on the TFT screen, whereas the number 6 is visibly slanted. Good luck to the folks whose OCD would be bothered by such things. Fold in the distraction of the sun visor decal, and the poor dears might need therapy. 🙃
The font they use in the digital speedometer makes the number "1" look like a lower case "l". Drove me nuts when I first got the jeep. Lol.

Well, looking under my Jeep, I have discovered other unsettling news, my front differential is not centered on my front axle, there’s only an FAD on one side, and my front and rear drive shafts are different lengths. Jeep needs to start hiring engineers with a focus on aesthetics and symmetry.

We recently purchased a Tucson; it'll be my wife's new DD. The color is "Portofino Gray", which is quite dark. The lift gate had two dealer decals affixed on the lower left corner. The first one was white, with considerable contrast. The other one, just below it, was identical but for being a very dark gray. It was almost invisible relative to the body color, and I determined that decal to also be retroreflective. The sneaky buggers!

Needless to say, both were removed post haste after arriving home. I had already returned the plastic dealer plate frame to the salesman before we were finished signing the ppwrk.

------------

I had given strict instructions to my CDJR salesman that my new Wrangler was not to be touched after being offloaded from the truck. I wanted to go through it from stem to stern in my garage and on my own time. To his credit, he followed my request to the letter. He did accompany me during a brief shakedown drive before the delivery appt. All was well, so we proceeded to the ppwrk. after filling the tank and returning to the dealership.

There was a dealership in the town that I (mostly) grew up in that'd screw their nameplate into the sheet metal. Right through the trunk lid / rear / whatever. No thanks.

Dang . . . I just noticed that I have a steering wheel on the left side, but not the right side. Airplanes have dual controls!

On second thought . . . my wife sits in the passenger seat. I already get an earful about how to drive, where to turn, what lane to be in, a car pulling out three miles ahead, a stop sign that I need to stop at, etc. I'll stick to just ONE steering wheel!!!

if you don't want the hassle of removing them and like the idea of a novelty decal, there are ones out there that you just decal over the existing factory ones. other than a heat gun with caution not sure how else you would be successful on removal.
I put extra-wide hook velcro over it—and can attach sunglass case or favored patches that can be swapped out at will😊
