Based on the advice of @Rhinebeck01 I preemptively installed the single Tacom brackets the first week of owning our Jeep. Cheap and effective.

I'll take your advice and save the time. I thought I was reading some have loose visor's after sometime even with the Taccom double. I had already ordered those from your link. I just can't spell the name.. LOL@mygreenkaw
Suggest you just go with .... The Original TACCOM double offering..
If your visor was not broken I would say go with the single Taccom offering.
No need to also do the DIY repair..

@Rhinebeck01 - Arrived and installed. Seem secure enough, I don't like that they rub but I can learn to live with it I guess.I'll take your advice and save the time. @ShootertimSo I’m the guy that owns TACCOM……
File the one end before installation and there won't be any rubbing issues.@Rhinebeck01 - Arrived and installed. Seem secure enough, I don't like that they rub but I can learn to live with it I guess.
I used the supplied screws. everything snugged up tight, I don't have any wiggles and they haven't worked themselves loose (just ran outside now and checked them).Op73,
I also got the Eamplest kit. Did you tighten the new screws until they made the repair and original visor mounts snug?
Yesterday when I installed mine I made the screws very tight but the mounts still wiggle. I don't want to continue and have the screws penetrate through to something they shouldn't.
I'm thinking about getting shorter screws.
Yeah, I looked a while ago on Amazon and I guess they gave up after the Chinese companies copied their design. Kinda sad.I rarely touch my sun visors. A few months ago I noticed my driver's side visor had a slight rattle, so I lowered it to then fling it back up. It almost fell out, so I pushed it back up immediately and it seemed fine. It appears the two hole TACCOM is not available on Amazon, so I ordered the og single from them on eBay.
I bought the ones from MotoFabLifts. I am sure they are still made in China, but at least the seller is a U.S. company and not one of those random offbrand Chinese brands on Amazon. Unfortunately they don't work for my 2025 because I guess Jeep changed the design.Yeah, I looked a while ago on Amazon and I guess they gave up after the Chinese companies copied their design. Hmm good to know. So did Jeep try to address the weak design to keep it from failing so easy?I bought the ones from MotoFabLifts. I would like to think so. However, the only change that I noticed is that the two screws are significantly shorter, so when I tried to install the visor clips, the screws that came with the clips bottomed out before they were tight.Hmm good to know. Chase down the two-hole repair brackets as you're able. I installed a pair of them after the single-arm versions kept popping out. They need to be anchored on both sides in order to work correctly.I rarely touch my sun visors.
