Suggest you just go with .... The Original TACCOM double offering..

If your visor was not broken I would say go with the single Taccom offering.

No need to also do the DIY repair..

TACCOM Double offering:

I'll take your advice and save the time. I thought I was reading some have loose visor's after sometime even with the Taccom double. I had already ordered those from your link. I just can't spell the name.. LOL

@Rhinebeck01 - Arrived and installed. Seem secure enough, I don't like that they rub but I can learn to live with it I guess.

File the one end before installation and there won't be any rubbing issues.

Op73,
I also got the Eamplest kit. Did you tighten the new screws until they made the repair and original visor mounts snug?
Yesterday when I installed mine I made the screws very tight but the mounts still wiggle. I don't want to continue and have the screws penetrate through to something they shouldn't.
I'm thinking about getting shorter screws.

I used the supplied screws. everything snugged up tight, I don't have any wiggles and they haven't worked themselves loose (just ran outside now and checked them).
when I installed the visor kit I had my hardtop on, for the summer I've switched to the soft top, and where the points of the screws would end up when they are tight I believe to be below the metal channel for the windshield frame. I am not aware of any factory wiring that would be in that channel, but possibly your map lights and adaptive cruise control are up there somewhere though but I don't know where. I believe any wiring would be forward of where those screws get seated under the plastic trim that goes from a pillar drivers all the way across to a pillar passenger, so I think there's nothing up there except for the small harness for the vanity mirror lights which should be routed out of the way of even the factory screws.

Anyone successfully install these clips on a 2025? I order two pairs of the Motofab clips: one for my 2018, and one for my 2025. I was able to install the clips in the 2018 with no issues, but they don't seem to work with the 2025. The factory screws are shorter, and the replacement screws bottom out well before they are snug against the clip.

I rarely touch my sun visors. A few months ago I noticed my driver's side visor had a slight rattle, so I lowered it to then fling it back up. It almost fell out, so I pushed it back up immediately and it seemed fine. It appears the two hole TACCOM is not available on Amazon, so I ordered the og single from them on eBay.

Yeah, I looked a while ago on Amazon and I guess they gave up after the Chinese companies copied their design. Kinda sad.

I bought the ones from MotoFabLifts. I am sure they are still made in China, but at least the seller is a U.S. company and not one of those random offbrand Chinese brands on Amazon. Unfortunately they don't work for my 2025 because I guess Jeep changed the design.

Hmm good to know. So did Jeep try to address the weak design to keep it from failing so easy?

I would like to think so. However, the only change that I noticed is that the two screws are significantly shorter, so when I tried to install the visor clips, the screws that came with the clips bottomed out before they were tight.

Currently, my visor is not falling out, so I can't speak to the durability of the new design. I was just trying to get ahead of the issue when I found out that the visor clips no longer fit. I guess technically the clips would still work, but you would need to find the exact right size screw to hold it in place.

Chase down the two-hole repair brackets as you're able. I installed a pair of them after the single-arm versions kept popping out. They need to be anchored on both sides in order to work correctly.
