Well damn, my drivers side just broke. I guess I get to join the waiting on parts list.

Good luck! This is the lovely help Jeep Care gave me: according to my dealer it’s not defective and it’s a 500 dollar part

Driver side visor broke last week, barely even use the visor at all. 6000 miles and 6 months old.

this is ridiculous, just another example of why FCA is at the bottom of all the customer satisfaction surveys

I would think everyone should log their complaint on the NHTSA website since it impacts visibility and could lead to an accident. I just searched the 2019 Wrangler and did not see any complaints. I doubt FCA will address this issue on their own unless a large number of complaints get logged.

Add me to the list, currently sitting in the customer lounge getting my passenger side visor fixed after it broke on Friday and they had to order the part...let’s see how long until the drivers side fails. 2019 JLU that I’ve had since May

Was it covered under your warranty?

Mine broke about a month or so ago. I took it apart and here's what the broken part looks like. Just a little plastic part to hold that long visor from falling out, especially if you swivel it to the side window. What a joke of a design. I have a cheap fix for those of you that are handy and don't have warranty coverage for a $400+ part (with garage door opener) or the $90 part. I'll post a thread in the General discussion and link it.

I think I'll just go ahead and mod the passenger visor with the method I came up with. No sense waiting for the inevitable.

I can't believe it. I lowered the passenger visor and swung it 3 times and it fell down, broken. I was planning on abusing it to get it to break so I could apply my repair , but the "abuse" wasn't necessary. It broke just doing what it's supposed to do.
