Reporting back after the camping trip. The Front Runner is awesome. Made life so much easier.

I'm now working on the most efficient way to fit everything into the Jeep. I bought a big tub when I got back to consolidate some of the loose items. The only thing I can't seem to fit is my folding table.

Anyone have suggestions on a lightweight, super compact camping table?

Like @bjm00se up above posted.

This table is great, I have one that has been used for camping and outdoor stuff.
It's actually pretty well built, and compact.

It's aluminum, I've cooked on it with a 30 year old , dual burner propane cook top, it's sturdy.

That's a smart idea. I have tiedown rails but haven't gotten around to getting an tiedown straps or net or anything. I keep my cooler in the Jeep at all times and that is at least bungied to the Jeep so it doesn't go flying.
Bungie cords will not secure a cooler in a flop much less a rollover.

I use this REI Co-op Camp Roll Table. It is more expensive than the Coleman but it is aluminum, sets up quickly, is compact and sturdy. Is well suited to hold my camp stove.
The Coleman mentioned by @Craigzjeep is aluminum, too. I was asking about the ALPS Simmer Table. It looks like it’s nylon.

I'm a big fan of the Plano Sportsman Trunks. I've got one set up as a bugout case if I want to head out camping at the last minute. They're sturdy, hold a ton, and are fairly well weather sealed. They also fit nicely in the back of my 2dr Willys with the seats out, and leave enough room for a dog bed to the side. You can often find them on sale at Home Depot for around $30-40. Certainly more reasonable than the $400 Roam charges for their similarly-sized cases, as nice as they may be!

I have a couple of these... they are $30 online at Costco. I bought them for $20 at the store. They fold up to nothing for storage and are super light weight and have two storage dividers to help organize.

Easy to load and remove as needed. Work great for my camping, etc. stuff. No need to buy expensive hard case stuff in my opinion.

Better with some Rhino straps--tho might look like overkill, it's not going anywhere

Thanks all for the tips! I'm going to get some ratchet straps and a big net to secure over the back area. I'm thinking I may need to cut some holes in my cargo liner to access the tie down rings on the floor.

Fyi, Weathertech liner has pre-molded "knockouts" matching the tie down rings.

Different shape than on mine but looks like it. I cut mine out working slowly with a utility knife.

Mine has these which I assume are meant to be cut out somehow:
I have those. I just used my handy pocket knife, but probably could have gotten a slightly neater result with a box cutter.

They're easier to cut when the Jeep's been sitting in the sun and they're nice and warm.
