Maybe it's me but I can't really see the track bar bracket braces doing much a low force/torque values when the steering is straight. I get it for rock crawling and preventing flex and damage when it's really loaded up, just don't see how it would help DW, wandering, or play (ie the common complaints).

FCA announced last Wednesday that 2022 Jeep Wranglers will only offer steering as an option.
But will they go straight without steering ? Even that may be doubtful unless you get a good one

Has anyone ever used: NATIONAL CENTER FOR DISPUTE SETTLEMENT/https://www.ncdsusa.org/consumers/automotive-warranty-disputes/

I'm having a difficult time getting FCA to buyback my vehicle. This would be my 2nd buyback. I've got all the documentation and still having a hassle. Anyone use the site up above? Got it directly from Mopar. Do you think this will assist in getting my buyback?
https://www.mopar.com/en-us/lemon-law.html

Thanks for any info you can provide!
I did because FCA was refusing to buyback my Jeep after four visits and being turned away for a fifth appointment for steering because the dealer didn’t know what to do (because FCA wasn’t giving them guidance).

Shockingly, I was awarded a buyback and am just beginning the process.

Feel free to PM me if you’d like. I’ll be happy to answer any questions.

I think part of the wandering is how it reacts to uneven road surfaces and bumps on the road. Maybe it's possible the brace bar helps reinforce the steering so you don't have to feel like you have to over-correct the wandering all the time? That would be my guess, but who knows.

My guess is that a small amount of flex at the gear box will translate to large amount of movement at the wheels -- due to the moment arm effect or whatever its called.

I just applied to the NCDS process today and the claim was accepted, looks relatively quick 40 day turn around.

Will try to keep y’all posted on how it turns out.

Good luck and I hope you have a successful outcome.

Be prepared for FCA to dismiss your claim outright. Their response to me was a copy/paste job in which they didn't even bother to change the pronoun and consistently referred to me as "he/him."

You can submit a rebuttal, which I did. I listed each dealer repair attempt and put the relevant emails and notes under each one. I also included the the PDF I created of all the 2019 wandering complaints to the NHTSA.

So, I'm getting my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara JL bought back by Stericycle. Does anyone know what I'll be getting offered from Stericycle??? Will it be my down-payment, everything including taxes, interest paid, license fees??? Is it negotiable to what they will offer back? Can you haggle? Tips? Suggestions? Thoughts. TIA!

Congratulations!

I’m in the same process now. I’ve read that some have gotten discounts on their replacement Jeeps.

I’m getting a replacement, but have been waiting nearly three weeks for any movement and my color has since been discontinued . I’m trying to get one that is close to what I want, but has $2,000 of options I don’t want :headbang:.

In California it is set in stone what you get on a buy back. I can give you an example with the formula used for our state if that helps:
Say the vehicle is repurchased because of engine problems. The first time the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the engine repair was at 5000 miles. The purchase price of the vehicle is $20,000. The expected life of the vehicle is always 120,000 miles. In this case the calculation would be as follows:

(5000 / 120,000) x 20,000 = $833.33 this is the usage fee.
(miles / car’s life) x car’s price = usage fee.

This is my 2nd to go back. I think i'm done with the Wrangler. The first time I believe they gave me the option of getting my down-payment back or a new @ 105%. My down-payment was 25,000. Just want to make sure I'm not getting screwed the 2nd time around. Here's my Outline..
