Just over two months ago my wife told me she wanted to look at getting a new Jeep Rubicon. We did some checking online and the only one that had all the options she wanted was at a local dealer in Roseville or the next closest would be in Irvine CA. I guess well equipped Rubicons are a little rare. I am happy to say we made a fair deal with the local dealer.

I have been her "compass" on what direction to go with lift kit, hub-centric wheels, tires and general accessories to get to her exact vision of the finished project. So much thanks goes to the members of this forum for input and valuable information. We will still be looking at installing a winch, doing some body and undercarriage protection and who knows what else so stay tuned.
Much of the work has been done in the last week or this weekend.

This is factory stock:

We had a Bestop Sunrider installed after getting a "show discount" from the Jeep show at the San Mateo Expo Center.

We installed the GPCA hard top tie down anchors with D-Rings. A nice way to easily remove those bolts and a place to use a bungee cord to hold the dog ramp.

We did the CMM Mirror/RAM mounts so she will have nice mirrors when the doors are off and the RAM mounts are great for a GoPro or to hold her phone:

Of course there was that big antenna that she complained about so we did the Rydonair 13":

Here is another one we did this weekend that was easy and we both love the look. We installed the Diode Dynamics Clear LED side-markers:

We have done two things that didn't work out as intended. I picked up the following longer spare bumpers however they are just 1/2" too short:
Here are the ones I purchased:

Aftermarket:

On a side note, they were easy to install.

Update, these ended up working perfectly with the suggestion to use the stool / chair tips from Lowes. See this post: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...-bright-white-build.48423/page-2#post-1072250

Second item that didn't work out because it stops the front of the doors from having a good weather seal (too bad because the look nice).
