I have the Metal Clock FAD Skid and Stabilizer Relocation Kit, but I am not sure that I like the design of the relocation part (u-bolts on one end and having to drill on the other).

Does anyone make a heavy duty relocation kit that does not require drilling and has a stronger attachment system other than u-bolts?

Thanks in advance.

I don’t know if I’d consider it heavy duty, but a lot of guys, me included are running the synergy. It replaces the track bar bolt with one with a stud on the end to accept the shock. It’s held up fine for me so far. Not a lot of stress there anyway.

Another member suggested that one too, so I think I will grab one. I line the "no-drill" installation, but I did see where it requires drilling out the stabilizer itself. Do you know offhand if a Fox (https://www.ridefox.com/product.php...del=Wrangler+JL&year=2019&position=Stabilizer) has to be drilled out?

Synergy sells that model with the stabilizer mount kit, so I am hoping that it does not have to be.

Thanks!

That’s the shock I’m using. Here’s mine..... no drilling for this one. I think that the oem stabilizer is the one that needs drilled , IIRC.

No problem...... one thing to check, take the shock out of the box and depress it and see if it expands on its own. The shaft should stay wherever you put it within a half inch or so.
I say this because I used to run a dual stabilizer so I didn’t realize it had to much pressure. When I gave a buddy one of them he noticed a slight pull to the left and found it was the shock. If you have this problem, pm me and I’ll walk you through how to let some of the pressure off.

Ahhhh!! Sorry to but in, but that’s why you asked me about my SS when I mentioned my left pull. I re-checked my front trackbar and I was off. I adjusted and I’m straight again.. no jokes please...lol

Now to get it and the Fox stabilizer mounted.
