When installing the stabilizer shock with relocation, does it matter which side goes to each side? I have seen lots of pictures with both ways

Thank you

When it comes to a conventional stabilizer, I prefer the body of the shock on the passenger side Having the rod end, which is typically of a smaller profile, on the driver side will offer more elbow room around the diff when turned left. The tie rod shifts closer to the front of the axle when turning.

the question was more of, the shock the thick side on the axle and the small on the drag link or the other side around

Mono tubes don’t care, the stock shock does have a correct direction in the stock location.

Most relo kits are track bar axle mount to tie rod.
