We just got this message "Start/Stop Unavailable Service Stop/Start". Also when in reverse, the backup camera only showed a blue screen, no picture. I only have about 1300 miles on it. First time Jeep owner, and first time I have ever had an issue this soon with a new vehicle.

My wife was driving at the time, stopped at a stop sign. The car turned off, showed this message, and would not turn back on. After sitting there for a few seconds, she was able to push the start button on/off several times, and it finally turned on. Kind of scary for her at the time.

I called our local dealership for appointment to fix this, and service department is booked out 2 weeks!

That is terrible, I know how you feel. Hopefully they can fix it quick for you. I was told mine was fixed and the service lights would go away after a 'drive cycle' of 60-100 miles. Well, 189 miles later and the service lights are still on. I still have my Jeep Wave case open and the specialist there said they are assigning "Tech Specialists" to work with the service department when I bring it back.

You should call the Jeep Wave folks so they can help in dealing with he Service Department. Good luck!!

Finally picked up my JL and it's finally fixed and picked up on 06/08. It was a vacuum pump - same fix as baggio16. I first brought it in on 05/08 and finally it's fixed. I cannot stress enough to NOT bring your Jeep to Bay Ridge Service Dept in Brooklyn. The Jeep Wave folks helped me out a bit and were able to contact the service dept. on my behalf to try get answers but Bay Ridge is SOOO bad. I can provide details if anyone is interested but the good news is that I finally got my ride back :)

I got these 2 service warnings over the weekend. Has anyone else gotten these? I plan on going to service dept. tomorrow.

I too have this same problem on my 2018 Jeep Rubicon. Same exact error messages. Unfortunately for me, I live in St Maarten and Jeep is not covering it under warranty, even though they told me they would when I bought the car, as there is a Jeep dealer here. But because I bought it in the states, Jeep wonā€™t honor the warranty.

It's one of the vacuum pumps. I had the same problem, took it to the dealer and now it's fixed.
Did the faulty vacuum pump cause your "service electronic stability control" warning light to come on or the "service the stop/start system" warning light to come on?

Does anyone have the info of the particular vacuum pump that has the issue? I've been to my dealership twice now, both times the error showed vacuum issue but they just replace the fuse and give the Jeep back to me. Now the lights came back on and clearly the vacuum pump is causing the fuse to blow. I told the service adviser that too but they wont listen, they just replace the fuse and say it's fixed.

TL;DR: if anyone has a copy of the paperwork they got when they went in to service this issue, can you upload a picture of just the part where they fixed the pump so I can give the the adviser specifics.

My 2019 is in the dealer for the second day now with the same errors.

Dealer said yesterday there was a vacuum issue but today it's still being diagnosed. I wonder if all these issues are the same.

Got my Jeep back today. The dealer said there was no leaks but there was frost in the throttle control. First time hearing this as a possible issue so we'll see if it acts up again.

I just got mine back for the same issue. It wasnā€™t a pump, but the vacuum harness. Had a small leak in a line. The part was backordered, so there it sat for almost 3 weeks. Iā€™ve had it back for about a week now and no more codes.

Hi wranglerguyman,
We're sorry that this concern has not been resolved for you yet. Please feel free to send us a private message if you would to have a case escalated so a Case Specialist can work with your dealer to help find a potential solution to this.

Sorry, didn't see this until now. But it both lights came on. The alert on the radio said "Electronic Stability Control System Malfunction".

They first fixed a hose or something, then it happened again. The second time they replaced the pump and haven't had that problem since. Actually, I did have it one time coming down from the high mountains in Colorado in June. If you want, I can see if I can locate the work order.

I know your post was intended for Trauma PA but I would appreciate it if you can post the work order on here so I can help my service adviser out with specifics. Thanks.
