I got these 2 service warnings over the weekend. Has anyone else gotten these? I plan on going to service dept. tomorrow.

I have gotten the start/stop one, but after turning the Jeep off and back on it worked again for me.

I have gotten the start/stop one, but after turning the Jeep off and back on it worked again for me.
It does go away after I re-start but always comes back on after driving a few minutes.

It's one of the vacuum pumps. I had the same problem, took it to the dealer and now it's fixed.

I had the start/stop error on a 2018 Jeep Compass Limited and after four trips to the dealer and nothing replaced just checked all connections it fixed itself but then then transmission temp started running about 240 and they told me that was normal even though I could smell antifreeze so I took my lumps and sold it at a loss and got a Wrangler JLU and hopefully this one does not have issues, seems to me that the more technology that's added to our toys the more that can going wrong, I sometimes miss the days of a manual tranny with manual windows and just an AM/FM radio.

UPDATE - I dropped off my Jeep yesterday at 8AM. Apparently the service department's phone and internet was not working all day yesterday and still no internet today. I spoke to them just now and they need the internet to diagnose my issue. They have my Jeep for over 24 hours, they open at 7:30, it's now 8:30, and no one has contacted me. This is very poor service. I will be picking up my Jeep today and bringing it to another service dept.

Finally get through to someone and they say they never looked at my Jeep because their systems are still down and offers no ETA or solution. Why would they not contact their customers instead of leaving us in the dark? This is very poor customer service. I went to pick up my Jeep and that service person offers no apology, just gets the valet to get my car and sends me on my way. I don't need to be coddled but an acknowledgement of the inconvenience would be nice. Never ever again going there!! First time, last time. Dropping off tomorrow at another dealer

I feel your pain. My dealer has had my vehicle for going on three days now. I had the following errors:

ESS
Service 4WD System
Swaybar Disconnect Unavailable

My Jeep was brand new, delivered from the distributor, and all three came up on the way home. I've owned my Jeep for 6 days, and it's been in the shop for the last 3 consecutively, with no end in sight. I'm beyond frustrated. It's pretty unacceptable.

I thought I escaped the dreaded FCA curse with my GC Overland I drove for the last year and a half. Now... not so much.

All these horror stories from crap service departments. Do you any of you get surveys from Chrysler/Jeep for your "recent service visit"?

These surveys impact the dealers in big ways. As into what can be warranted, how much money they get, and so on. Essentially if their advocacyand fixed first visit scores are low they lose out on a lot of perks.

I’ve been getting Service Stop Start on my JL... bought it two weeks ago tomorrow.. it was at the dealer last Friday and they said “the battery was low” so they “charged it” (I was only there for an hour two though.. hmmm). The service guy told me that if it comes back on again, they’ll just replace the battery(s) as they weren’t sure if it was just low or bad cells or what. It worked fine that day but came back on the next day. I have another appointment on Saturday so I’m expecting them to just replace the battery...

Seems to work okay in normal around town driving but if I’m in a drive-thru or highway stop-and-go (i.e. several stop / starts within a short period of time) it pretty consistently displays the service message.

Fortunately, the dealership seems solid and I’ve been working with the Jeep Wave folks who said they’d work with the dealer to find out how they’ll fix this permanently so I’m not back and forth...... fingers crossed for Saturday! I’ll report back what they tell me.
