Wife says the following message popped up "service electronic stability control" and after a restart went away. Thoughts?

I haven't had it happen in my JL, but my Charger did it a few times. Turns out it was a failing sensor. Dealer fixed it quick and hassle free.

My wife has 2018 rubicon JLU 2.0 and this just happened to her. Wonā€™t go away and engine light is on. Steering has been loose for a couple of months. Dealer said that was not unusual. Huh. I have a service appointment next week.

I had this issue at around 11k miles. It came on randomly at first then eventually it came on everytime I drove. Its a vacuum leak in the system and was repaired under warranty. 7 months later I haven't seen it since. Luckily for me mine was fixed the first time but others have had to make multiple service visits to track it down. Search for "service ESC light" in the forum and youll find lots of info

The dealership has had her Rubicon since 10 this morning and just now let us know that they canā€™t figure out whatā€™s wrong and will try again tomorrow :facepalm:

ALRUI, what happened in your situation? Did Jeep cares offer any support? Did they find the cause ?
It went away & I went ahead and re-seated all the fuses (yes some weren't fully seated) & so far it hasn't happened again (thankfully!).

So they called me today and suggested that maybe I had been in an accident or hit a pot hole really hard because my steering was off 180 degrees. I said nope and nope. I brought it in for the steering recall a couple months ago, explained my problem at that time and supposedly they fixed it. Worked a little better for a couple weeks, then all the warning lights. My wife has less than 3000 miles on her vehicle (yes, sheā€™s a mall crawler). So today they tell me a screw in the steering mechanism was extremely warn. Said someone must have messed with it. I told them the only place I have ever taken my vehicle was to them for recall work. Itā€™s garage parked, never loaned it out and no one has ever touched it. So.....they say ok ok Iā€™ll get back to you in a few minutes. So after 4 hours, I called for an update. They said everything was fixed and they ordered a new track bar (apparently an up grade is available) and it will be ready tomorrow mid day. Fingers crossed.
