Start Stop disable using JScan

This feature described is part of the Jscan app, and therefore works with it.

Not arguing with you. But be aware that to some extent JSCAN and to a lesser extent Tazer have both claimed certain features work and then retracted that statement. Or they have not readily acknowledged conflicts until users have complained.

Please share what you mean by the terminology "start stop illuminator." Is it the ESS off light in the dash, the ESS off button you press, both, or yet something else (e.g. a device expressly designed to turn start stop off)?

Does the Jscan eliminate the need to press the ess button every time you start the Jeep?Dose it act like the auto start stop device?

It does. But with the caveats I mentioned early in the thread.

No argument taken. I agree. JSCAN effects this ESS off feature with a bit of a kludge and Tazer has had bugs, mostly long ago ironed out.

I own and like both. When I purchased each years ago there was less overlap of their features. At the time of my purchase only Jscan allowed the configuration of aftermarket proximity locks, and as you know the Tazer has a bunch of features not only not on Jscan, but that can never be part of Jscan, which unlike a married Tazer, is not a real time CANBUS communication device and as such can't do things like turn the radio mute button into an always on rear camera enabler.
