Not in stock and I have no ETA but a wild ass guess that it could be around October going off the back-order log on the entire soft tops. By then I will have put my hard top back on. I'm currently playing roulette by going safari and hoping I don't get caught in a cloud burst.
Oh, man. I spoke too soon. That sucks. At least you have a hard top.

My dealer has had a left rear window replacement panel on order for my 2 door due to a blemish on the window since the middle of June and it's still not here. :(

In my vehicle, my right window panel bulges out when driving over 50. The opposite side is fine. Might be the window panel or the cables inside the top are defective or not properly installed.

On the highway today and the rear driver side premium soft top window blew out and hit the highway. It was run over of course. Top up and windows down, Speed was 65 I know all the flaps were tucked and the channel threaded properly as it took the tapered tip with it. At least with a zipper it would stay with the Jeep. Anyone else have issues with the window not staying in-place? A full line of Velcro on the top might be better than just the small patch.

I had this exact issue happen today. I was going down the interstate and had the windows down a quarter of the way with top up and windows in. I noticed in my mirror that the front part of the window popped out and was catching wind like a parachute and as soon as I was pulling over to the side it ripped out and took flight. It was ran over and shattered the corner and scratched up the window. I was able to retrieve it after playing frogger on the interstate. This sucks on labor day weekend. Hoping no rain comes my way.

I might be the only one here who preferred the zippered windows over the sliding rail design. Removing the windows on the current top is easy, but aligning them and sliding them back in is a bit awkward. I haven't had any problems, but I think this new design might be lacking in durability over time.

I noticed yesterday, after reading this thread, that both side windows bow out quite a bit at highway speeds (65-70). This makes me incredibly nervous. Anybody have any thoughts on securing it some way? Either with a long strip of velcro at the top, or maybe a hold in the tab at the bottom and string/zip tie?

I sent you a PM. I ordered a new window through my dealership which supposedly said it'd take 3-4 days to get. I'm curious about next steps and what we need to do and if you guys are going to possibly talk to them for me to help resolve said issue or what. Right now I'm stuck staying home any time it rains cause I can't get the Jeep out of the garage.

Not necessary, IMO. OP admitted that he may not have installed the windows correctly. The second person who had the misfortune of losing a window said, "front part of the window popped out" which, to me, also implies it wasn't "popped in" all the way from the start.

Is either poster at fault for losing a window? Hell no! The damn things should not blow off if the ziplock isn't perfectly in place. I mean, there's a lot of room for error, especially if it's pouring rain and you're trying to get the damn things on fast.

Anyhow, I don't think Velcro will do anything vs. 70 MPH wind if the front tab pops out. It's going to make a parachute and rip off. If anything, I'd fear that Velcro causing damage to the top in the event of a parachute situation. Forget string or zip ties on my new vehicle. May as will tape the windows on with duct tape in that case.

I think the best you can do is make sure you install these things, properly. My aforementioned process is in post 8.

I don't think the bow is anything to worry about. Mine does it as well so I believe it is a normal characteristic.

Ok, I'll simmer down the anxiety, and just make sure I check the windows before heading out.

Iā€™ve had my Jeep for almost 4 weeks. Today is the second time the driverā€™s side window has come off the top track. It was installed correctly both times. Following all instructions. We are planning to troubleshoot more tonight, but my thought is that the gap for the tube is too large and is allowing it to detach with wind pressure. Is this a warranty issue? Itā€™s very disturbing for a brand new vehicle to have such an issue.

Did they charge you? Do you have an extended warranty?
