i've been having both of said issues! my battery just doesn't like the cold at all here in NYC. i have to leave in plugged into a trickle charger the night before if i know i'll be driving around the next day-super annoying.

i experienced the water in fuel CEL just recently and was freaked out.. glad i'm not the only ecodiesel owner experiencing the same thing. for me, the CEL went away after warming up, or within a few minutes of driving.

The right side is in about two feet of snow and it is a little up hill, but if you want to come over and help push I think we can knock it out.
You're about 3k miles too far or I'd absolutely lend a hand.

Tractor supply has had xxx requests for this today.... so I'm not the only one. On the flip side it will be about 4 days before they can ship one to me and a week to get it into the store.... thats right, they can swnd it to my house faster than i can pick it up.
Many truck stops carry that as well...

I lucked out today and it was a little warmer, I think we may have broke 20 and it did start right up. I let it run for a few minutes to warm up and then put it back in the garage. I did look for the plug but did not find it. I vaguely remember that option not being available when I ordered the jeep. I'm sure I asked... for the extra $30 it seemed well worth the piece of mind. I'll have to look again. Has anyone put one on after purchase and is it a fairly easy add on?

Wind chill does not affect the fuel. At -20°F air temperature and driving 60 mph would give a wind chill temperature of -62°F. In cold weather you should be using #1 diesel with an additive to keep from gelling.

I have had two no-starts this year. Both of them were when the temp gauge in the Jeep said -6 degrees. Also when trying to start the lift pump sounded different. Pretty sure what evet water is in the bottom of the filter froze enough to restrict the fuel flow to the fuel pump. Just had to wait for it to get back up to about 18F. Also doesn't help that the number two glow plug has stopped working. Getting that replaced Friday. Hasn't not started except for Monday. Sure doesn't like starting on 5 to 5.5 cylinders. After Monday's debacle I gave it another shot of Archoil diesel and filled the tank.
