Simple ESS Disable Idea

There are so many inputs to get ESS to engage that I get nervous when it doesn't shut off the engine. I think of it as a quick system health check.

I'll bet a good dog trainer could, well, you know. The you could designate him/her your ESS Service Dog.

This is a very good idea. But then there will be little sweaty nose marks all over the button. So, what is really needed is a trained ESS Service Dog with a specifically designed nose cup. All ya gotta do is remember to put the nose cup on the Dog each time you get in the car.

maybe the OP’s engineer family dude can design said nose cup.

or, you can just press the button like I do. And if I forget, I am quickly reminded to press the button.
