you could turn into a “youtuber” of sorts (sorry I don’t much about social media, just that it prints money for people in ways I don’t get) and document how you give the defender the same treatment your JL gets ?
that could be his shtick! He buys brand new vehicles and then goes mad max on them! Lambo, tesla, trx, classic ferrari, etc!
He’d be rolling in dough!

Saw this Defender coming out of one of the stores I worked.

Are those angry eyes on its stock headlights? If so are angry eyes as bad as an angry grill?

I like defenders, they're quite awesome vehicles...

Should I Hate It??
I like the Defender, the front isn’t the best angle, but from the side they look sharp. Angry-ish headlights look good.

The Defender looks / reminds me of what George Carlin once said about Richard Nixon….

“Nixon is the perfect symbol for the country — looks like he hasn’t taken a shit in a month — he’s just not a regular guy — every four years he gets the runs — ‘Look! He’s running again.’ ”

Our second vehicle is a 4-dr Defender X with the 3.0 straight six in it. 400 HP and 400 Lb-ft of torque makes for a fun vehicle to drive. It has more bells and whistles than I thought any vehicle could. I still love driving my Jeep more but like driving the Defender over the Ford Escape she had before it.

Driving impressions @ 22:26

What the guy was saying about at a high speeds what the two-door Defender feels like, is honestly the same way the EcoDiesel feels at 110 mph after it's had the Tredsdert weight reduction package.

Honestly anything over a hundred feels sketchy in the EcoDiesel. I feel like I could cruise around all day at 90 mph, but the second you hit 103, you definitely get that "oh shit" moment.

Morbid curiosity...

I seen one of those one day driving to Waco to visit family a couple years back, I had to look it up online to see what the hell it was. It looked like a shoe with no roof. Hideous, absolutely beyond hideous! ?

I would lease one if I were looking to go that route. I would not buy though. Too unreliable.
Yeah we were looking into getting the wife a Land Rover before we chose the Subaru. They're nice cars, but the lemon percentage is just absolutely preposterous. Even the guy at the dealership was telling us that the only smart way to purchase a Land Rover was to lease it or if you do purchase it, only keep it 2 years and put low miles on it and then trade it in. He said that's why you see so many used 2-year-old Land rovers with low miles on the market. He even said more than half of the vehicles they had on their lot were used Land Rovers. The salesman had told us that they are great vehicles, but that it doesn't make sense to keep them long-term. I mean if even the salesman at the Land Rover dealership is telling you that, that's pretty much all you need to know.

I mean if you look up online just the amount of people complaining that it died on the drive home from the dealership when they first picked it up is just mind-blowing.

I've actually had quite a few people tell me that I should create a YouTube channel for my Wrangler projects, but I don't really like that kind of effort. Having to constantly create content is more effort than I want to do. As it is I create a fair amount of YouTube shorts when I do do projects, but I'm only doing the shorts because it's easy and there's zero editing on my end. ;)

Same reason I keep telling my bosses I'm not going to get my CDL Class A license, too much work and responsibility.
