Driving down the road "service 4wd light " flashes on than off . Does not stay on longer than 3 seconds. Sometimes less than a second. No lift. Stock height. 33in tires. No hard-core wheelin. Any ideas?? No check engine light either

if you’re lucky it can be a dirty ABS sensor. Super easy to access, clean and remount!

give it a shot and let us know

I'll check that out thanks. I've checked all the fuses already also
while you’re there, make sure whoever touched them last installed them properly in the rear - one of mine was run incorrectly in a way that put a tension on the wire

Try pushing down on all your fuses. Light is coming in 2H?

Yes 2h. Normal street driving
Does your transfer case have 4H auto? Maybe leave it in that and see if it stays long enough to visit the dealer.

You're not going to make any headway whatsoever without pulling DTC's from the DTCM/TCCM.
A wheel speed sensor will cause ABS/Stability Control/4wd/CEL to come on, your problem is something in the 4wd system like a FAD actuator circuit fault, or transfer case position sensor fault.

Mine had to have the wire replaced and that fixed it.

There are hundreds of variables. Your best bet is to buy a Bluetooth OBD scanner on Amazon and download jscan. You can run the codes and see exactly what’s happening. It could be a wheel speed sensor (ABS sensor), a transfer case sensor, a FAD issue, or a transmission issue. It could even be mismatched tire sizes. Just run the codes and it will make diagnosis much easier.
