I’ve done that a few times. I think the Canbus module is damaged...

That's what I'm going to do. I ordered 2 cameras so I could get a front mount as well. For camera. Wouldn't be just easier to replace the camera and re-run the rca cable to the head unit. (around $20 cost instead of $80)
Thats what I have, mounted under my plastic bumperFor camera. Wouldn't be just easier to replace the camera and re-run the rca cable to the head unit. (around $20 cost instead of $80)
I wonder if buying the (TEYES Video converter box) and just keeping the oem camera/wiring will work?Fun story. I added a backup camera, and surprise surprise, it doesn't work. I mean, when the ignition is in "run", but the engine isn't running, it functions just fine. When its running, it doesn't work at all.
This radio and their support is garbage...
Still waiting for mine as well, in USPS system. Have a look at the wiring diagram and work from there:So, just to make it easier i went ahead and ordered the Teyes Video Convertor box. Haven't received it, yet.
Does anyone know the color of the ACC 12v and the Ground wire color is - either on the Seicane wire harness or the jeep harness, so i can tap the ACC and Ground from Teyes. (i thinking it is red for the ACC)
Thanks
You can use #15 from the RCA cable. I tapped my backup camera from Amazon and my Amplifier using the orange wireSo, just to make it easier i went ahead and ordered the Teyes Video Convertor box. Haven't received it, yet.

In able to use the front camera, you have to enable it in the settings. Once enabled you will see the app in the screen. I forgot the and not in the car right now.Yep. i was looking at the same diagram # 15 will be a good option. It should supply constant 12v. I am rewiring/replacing my radio antenna to rear and going to run antenna cable through firewall and am thinking about putting a front camera at same time - and will tap into #15 for the front camera, as well. And does Seicane support front camera because i don't see an input for front cam? (i have mine but can't install yet)
I do not have an amp but got a small subwoofer which connected to Amp-CONT (#20) for on/off feature and a direct connection to the battery.
