I’ve done that a few times. I think the Canbus module is damaged...

Oh, I’m trying to download the Malayks update to android 9. Any pointers? I unzipped the files into a folder on a flash drive usb, but I’m not sure I’ve done it correctly.

I don't think Malysk will help you since its a hardware issue ( Canbus)not OS side. Malysk is only upgrade to make it look good and rooted

For camera. Wouldn't be just easier to replace the camera and re-run the rca cable to the head unit. (around $20 cost instead of $80)

That's what I'm going to do. I ordered 2 cameras so I could get a front mount as well.

Fun story. I added a backup camera, and surprise surprise, it doesn't work. I mean, when the ignition is in "run", but the engine isn't running, it functions just fine. When its running, it doesn't work at all.

This radio and their support is garbage...

So, just to make it easier i went ahead and ordered the Teyes Video Convertor box. Haven't received it, yet.
Does anyone know the color of the ACC 12v and the Ground wire color is - either on the Seicane wire harness or the jeep harness, so i can tap the ACC and Ground from Teyes. (i thinking it is red for the ACC)
Thanks

Still waiting for mine as well, in USPS system. Have a look at the wiring diagram and work from there:
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/JL-Wiring-Diagrams/AUDIO-SYSTEM---BASE.pdf
Looks like the wires going into the multi-pin connector:
Red/Yellow pin number 44 for positive
Black pin number 43 for negative
I plan on connecting to those pins on the Seicane radio side of the connector.

You can use #15 from the RCA cable. I tapped my backup camera from Amazon and my Amplifier using the orange wire

Yep. i was looking at the same diagram # 15 will be a good option. It should supply constant 12v. I am rewiring/replacing my radio antenna to rear and going to run antenna cable through firewall and am thinking about putting a front camera at same time - and will tap into #15 for the front camera, as well. And does Seicane support front camera because i don't see an input for front cam? (i have mine but can't install yet)

I do not have an amp but got a small subwoofer which connected to Amp-CONT (#20) for on/off feature and a direct connection to the battery.

In able to use the front camera, you have to enable it in the settings. Once enabled you will see the app in the screen. I forgot the and not in the car right now.

Question for your subs. I have the Alpine pwe-s8. So you think using the AMP-CONT is better vs the#15?

Technically, it should be same. It is just a trigger to turn on/off either for a sub or a amp; assuming you have direct 12v supply from the battery with an inline fuse.
Your amp and the sub should turn off when the radio is off even when you have direct 12v from the battery; if that is working, i am assuming you should be good. That is what AMP-CONT is for; which #15 could be doing the same, as well but for the camera.
If looks to have power when you have the radio on for #15, as well.
One thing i noticed Red/Yellow pin number 44 (wrangler wire harness) for positive might be supplying constant 12V; even when the radio and jeep is off; not sure if this is a good thing for the camera.
Also, which input do you have your front camera hooked up to on Seicane?

Yea My amp/sub does turn off when the radio is off using the #15 so is my camera. I do not have front camera set up but I played the settings. Per Seicane you can use the Aux -V IN for the front camera
