I have five used stock tires with about 20,000 on 4 tires, one new. All with stock black rims and TPS. Free to good home pickup only on A1A very near Patrick Space Force Base.
  2. Seicane 9” head unit

Still waiting for mine as well, in USPS system. Have a look at the wiring diagram and work from there: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/JL-Wiring-Diagrams/AUDIO-SYSTEM---BASE.pdf Looks like the wires going into the multi-pin connector: Red/Yellow pin number 44 for positive Black pin number 43...
  3. Seicane 9” head unit

Just a heads up, I put a Seicane order in on Jan 20, 2020, still hasn't shipped as of Feb 4, 2020. I expected a delay for Chinese New Year, but I think they will be closed for awhile due to the coronavirus.
  4. What happened to Insane Audio's JL3001 head unit?

I enjoyed your overview and hope you post a review when completed. Also look forward to your ideas on software solutions. I am leaning towards the Chinese HUs for many of the same reasons as you. I like the Android options.
  5. Seicane 9” head unit

There seems to be three versions, $210, $251, and $364 version. Which version are people currently installing? $251 version...

  8. Flashlights, where are you all mounting them?

I found that the Braun flashlight from Harbor Freight fits nicely between the Handbrake and console. I put one of those magnetic mini usb plugs on it so I can easily attach the charging cable without picking up the flashlight...

  10. Installed Power Door Locks to my JL Sport

Sure, but you need to put in wire quick disconnects at the door hinge where the current disconnects are.
  11. Installed Power Door Locks to my JL Sport

Thanks Slowmotion, had all the parts. Now I have flash.
  12. Best solvent to remove ad on tire cover?

I used acetone, it work OK. Rag must be clean each time you wipe. You will be tempted to splash it on and work on a large area. I recommend working small areas at a time.
  13. Another dead pedal option. . .

I used the paper towel between the metal piece with the studs and the Jeep wall to prevent it from falling back.
  14. Another dead pedal option. . .

My first install was pretty simple. I decided to adjust the spacing and tried a second install. I could not get the pedal back on the back bracket, no mater how I tried. Turned out the back bracket with the two studs had bent slightly on first install. After bending it back into the proper...
  15. 2018 JL sport power door locks

My dealer finally found a tailgate power latch, installed and working. Job complete.
  16. 2018 JL sport power door locks

I would agree, the only difference I can see comparing the two parts are the attachment points for the bolts. One has a slight depression for cone shaped boltheads and the other has a flat plate for the bolt plates.
  17. Best solvent to remove ad on tire cover?

I tried the pictured paint thinner with no luck. I had heard varnish thinner would work, but not this one based on mineral spirits. I then tried acetone with some success, but it evaporates quickly making the job difficult.
  18. Best solvent to remove ad on tire cover?

I removed the ad on the tire cover from the spare tire cover on an old jeep, but cannot remember what works best.

Mine is still on back order. Thinking about trying a universal type of lock. https://www.amazon.com/InstallGear-Universal-Power-Actuators-12-Volt/dp/B00CZBQCR2/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_263_bs_lp_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=10PEMXRSN4XYE8M3QR7N
