Yep - agreed with @RisingEagle.
I have both features on my Grand Cherokee - so I assume anything on a Wrangler would be similar.
Auto-wipers work just as described. I get confused for a second when I drive any other vehicle and have to manually operate vehicles lol. You set it once and forget it. And it is so nice. They come on and turn off automatically and adjust the speed as well.
On my wife’s X5, they are not nearly as nice. You have to hit the “auto wiper” button each time you turn the vehicle on - they do not stay on between drives. Stay on between drives is a big difference maker.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is amazing. 4 distances to choose from on my GC, and it will increase your speed up to the max speed you tell it to, to maintain the distance you set. It will also slow down, of course. I use this not only for highway, but also city driving. There IS a safety feature in this. The distance between me and the vehicle in front of me is definitely increased since I started using this. I just have it set to always give the max distance, and now there’s no temptation to tailgate when I’m in a hurry or a rush.
Lastly, not yet mentioned is automatic high beams (brights). Works just like the auto-wipers. Turn it on, and it stays on. It senses when there are oncoming cars and turns off your brights. When there are no cars in front of you, it turns them back on. Very nice option - and it’s frustrsting driving my wife’s car - she also has automatic brights, but just like the wipers, I have to remember to turn on the auto function each time I turn her vehicle on.
