Sahara Overland Model Spotted

Redditor Ginger_Beard_ spotted what appears to be a Sahara trim (going by the running boards and body-colour flares) with Michigan plates. Note the Overland badge - I have not heard of an Overland package yet.

Pretty sure the Overland was the "Premium" edition Sahara/Package they were making. Last I saw it was confirmed for Europe. Not sure if America is getting one as well. Photo looks to be a LHD though so it looks like this will be for America.

That’s NOT a JK, it has the fender edge/lip of the JL that is not on JKs.

I started typing this on my iPad in response to the red accent on the Jeep badging. I wasn't sure it was a JK or JL on the inital photo. I since reopened my iPad to respond to the Overland edition and forgot I had started typing about the red accent badging lol. Didn't mean to post that part of the message. oops

Yea Export model. The Overland trim was only for Europe.

This is an export. You can tell by the bumpers. One thing to note is that it has body color painted mirrors

It looks like those mirror turn indicators will be on export models only as I have yet to see any on the US Spec ones.

Again, Euro spec. Must have Amber turn signals.

Rest assured it has red rear fog lights too.

I'd love to have rear fog lights for fog, heavy rain, or snow storms. I like the side turn signals, too. They can keep the ugly bumpers, though.
