I'm getting these!!!
ya this is what I'm looking for as well. my wife doesn't like climbing into my truck, and my ordered jeep will actually sit higher than it - so steps will be a must. If I can put some boards on without messing with the factory-rails, that's a definite win in my column

Personally I've never been too fond of the the ACE sliders, simply because to provide a product at a lower price point they cheap out and use a thinner wall tubing to make their sliders. The problem for those who wheeled their Jeeps is if you put the weight of the Jeep on the slider it would bend and damage the body which is why you see everyone who runs Ace sliders run them with the stock Rubi rock rails. Not sure if they've changed anything much, that was the case with their sliders for the JK.

Depending what you plan to do with your Jeep, I'd say that should dictate what you get. Back with my first Rubicon in '09 I swapped out the plastic side steps the dealer put on it for a set of LoD sliders that had an integrated step. Then a few years later when I got my '12 Rubicon I changed out the factory Rubi rails with another set of LoD sliders. They're a solid rock slider with an integrated step, I'm trying to remember, I think they were made with .120 dom tubing. Chris is pretty creative so it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with for the JL.

These are probably the best I’ve seen. I bought a pair of the ACE sliders and have had some serious fitment and creaking issues. They’ve since redesigned them and are now shipping the new and improved version.

When are these LOD sliders coming out?

Not sure if Chris will be making the signature series for the JL. It’d be great if he would since, but who knows. I saw he was working on something totally new. Not sure if I’m digging the new design the for JL if that is what will go into production.

I can’t want for my JL to get here so I can see how or if my current LoD sliders could potentially work with some modification.

I “thought” I saw pic’s on his web site, however if they were there they have since been taken down.

Yeah, I checked out the site and couldn’t find anything. They seem to have the best looking rock rails. Very aggressive looking stuff.

So they tweaked them?

So they tweaked them?
They sure did. They made the brackets that connect to the body mount screws slightly smaller so they fit better against the vehicle’s frame. As of Tuesday of last week, they will be sending out only the new version to their customers. They’ve tested the new set and stated that there won’t be any further creaking issues since the fitment is better.

If anyone has a pair of the earlier version and are dealing with creaking issues, it may be worth it to give your retailer or even ACE a call directly to request for a swap. Northridge contacted ACE for me and arranged to have my swapped for the new version.

Really like those lod. Just wish someone would make a set with steps but where I don’t have to give up the Rubi rails. On my current set. I got a lot of gravel between the pinch seam and the rail

Since the information is incorrect, shouldn’t this post be revised? This can have big consequences to small companies.
