I've had sliders before and while they are fine for me the little ones aren't going to be able to use them effectively to get in and out without risking slipping.

I'm definitely getting the Rubicon, I would love some sidesteps that bolt on with the Rubicon rails and are easy to just take off when I'm going to go wheeling. Something with grip and width, similar to the Sahara steps. Anybody have any good options?

Does anyone know if the Westin Snyper black triple tube rock rails can be installed without removing the factory rock rails?

Did not get an answer from Westin, but according to CARID 5/21 is the earliest. I didn't order because they wanted to charge me now and ship later!

Check out their website. They’re not available yet, but they have a cool intro video about them. They look like the JK Destroyers, which look amazing. Pricey though, they have them listed for $839.

Is Westin a reputable brand? Those sliders look pretty cool. Only thing that makes me nervous is the drilling.

There is no drilling. They mount to the frame mounting bolts, not to the pinch seam.

Does anyone know of any steps that are similar to the AMP Research Power Step but non-powered? I don't need a fancy motor based system (and I certainly don't need to spend $1000), but I saw this on a rig the other day and it is the closest to the overall design I'm looking for. Full running board when lowered, light-duty rock rail when raised.
