Continuing to build out the back of my Jeep for overlanding. At some point I'll be installing the AAL M.A.S.S. Storage Platform with their Fridge Slider. I'm not really ready for a dedicated fridge/freezer, put I did want to run a good quality hard sided cooler.

The plan was to go with a Yeti 45 QT. After checking the specs on the Yeti 45 and the AAL Fridge Slider, it turns out the Yeti would not fit. Taking a look at other hard sided coolers, I found the RTIC 45 will fit the AAL Fridge Slider nicely. Looking forward to having the convenience of a slide out tied down quality cooler on Rubi.

Nice! Are you doing the Aux battery on yours?

I just placed an order for the MASS Storage Platform and Fridge Slider.

Yes I’m doing the battery, already received it. What about you? If you do hopefully you post a video on it.
Did you order their new lo pro slide? I’m leaning towards AAL for this as well. I think it looks a lot better than goose gear, especially since it has the shelf, and they are now making the seat deleted soon at AAL

I'm not doing the aux. battery at this time, but that I'll be built for it. I've tossed around the idea of running a fridge/freezer and for my application (now) just doesn't make sense. I purchased a quality hard side cooler that I'll run on the slider for when we're out on trips and for the overnights we do. I want to be able to remove the slider for day to day cargo use.

After talking with Brit, I ordered the Fridge Slider. It will be easier to strap down my RTIC 45QT that way. The floor is being powder coated in texture black which Brit tells me is the most durable and I'l finish the slider face in red to match my AAL shelf.

I will do a video on my install, I'll already had a few ask me for that. Looking forward to seeing your set-up, I have another Jeep buddy who is installing the aux. battery/compressor, I'll keep an eye on that.

That looks great! Do you have to open the lid while using it due to excessive heat ?
Hey Roky. If I were keeping the stock floor system I would open the lid. I have the AAL MASS floor system on order which will open the floor up.

With the air intakes located up high, it's designed to draw cool(er) air which should help keep the compressor running within its designed operating temps.

I love the Jeep Performance LED's offered on the JL...finally world class lighting for our Jeeps.

Here's a little detail that I recently noticed while the headlights were illuminated...
- Bi-LED Projector Module
- Enhanced Trail Vision Reflector Optics
- Magnesium Alloy Bezel Construction
- 43mm x 135mm Primary Lens
