Nope. Too lazy to remove the hinge reinforcement. And think it looks better than the painted hinges. The reinforcement came on the Jeep from the factory. Not the one I’d have went with if I was ordering aftermarket. But if I had bought an aftermarket hinge I’d have not went with a spare tire delete.

I used the delete kit from American Adventure Labs. Comes with a new LED third brake light. A little more expensive than some other offerings but I like it. I didn’t bother removing the factory tailgate reinforcement from the tailgate.

Use a kinetic recovery rope (bubba rope is a good example) and try pulling when stuck before a hard snatch. Most times one hook is fine.
