Hello everyone! I have put 35s on my 2023 Jeep Sport S and I want to add AEV parts (Bumpers, Spacer lift). Knowing this, I know my current gear ratio isn't gonna cut it. Do I look for front and rear Dana 44s or do I just Re-Gear? I don't do any "real" wheeling.

My 35s felt fine, not great not bad just fine on stock gearing. Granted it’s a 2.0, only time it wasn’t great was on the highway at 70 cause it wanted to go into 8th and 7th and hunt.

If you have a manual then I’d regear all day.

I'm following. It's rare for me to be on a highway that actually requires 70 mph, but when I do, the jeep does pretty alright around 65 mph.

Look for some Rubicon takeoffs
Would I have to find rubicon suspension parts though? I was led to believe the rubicon axles are made for the rubicon suspension (bigger)

Same stuff other than springs and shocks. It's wider, so it'll push out your stance 3/4" per side.

Nah then you’ll be fine for a bit unless you get annoyed by it hunting if it’s hilly over by you. When I was in miami the biggest “hill” was an overpass and it would kick down to a lower gear.

I did about 25-30k on stock gears with 35s just fine. Doing axles is a great idea and recommend, be it gears or rubi axles but that’s a good chunk of coin to drop. My regear- locker and BJs ran my up 5.5k after labor.

See that's what I fear. I don't want to blow tons of money right now, especially above 3k right now

I recommend gearing the axles you have now. But imo it’s not an urgent do it now thing. Ride around like that for a bit see how bad you need it for your driving style and speeds. Pocket that money for a bit, invest it if you want but you don’t have to spend gobs of money just yet. It adds up when you go do other things, and if you’re like me and keep a handy spreadsheet it’s a nice lil reminder for the amount of money spent.

I’ll say this, the forum has a hell of a way of making us think we need rubi axles, 37s, lockers and a truss to do anything.

I kept a spreadsheet for my 08 Jeep lol. But yea, looking at AEV Jeeps, Forums, and Youtube has made me feel like I N E E D Dana 44s (or even higher) to run a front and rear bumper, 35s, and a spacer lift.

I love the AEV Jeep builds and I just want a budget (I say budget lightly) AEV Jeep Lol. I found some of the AEV Jeeps are as much as a new 392 JLU...
