Excellent look ! Keep them ! Aerodynamics improve mileageLeaving them on mine, I prefer the look
I used a fine toothed scroll blade in a jigsaw. That's a nice detail. Better than just removing.
How did you trim it?
Yes, for "Fuel Efficient" Mall-Crawlers your probably quite correct.Nope. There is just enough gap between them and the fender that mud goes through and runs all the way down over the bumper. Looks worse than just a bumper. I didn't really notice them until I drove down a wet dirt road. Made the front of the jeep look terrible.
Great idea. Thanks.Removed mine, trimmed them and replaced the portion behind the bumper to protect the fog light wiring.
Thanks for the picture.Huge mileage improvement ! Its a must remove !
Like mine fine as well.I left mine. Look doesn't bother me. If I remove it it will be for a steel Rubicon take off bumper.
Could you post some pics of the outcome you cutting them off?? I am considering it. Did you notice any change in the MPG??I pulled mine off and cut them. Didn't notice a change in mpg. There is a thread about how to get rid of them here.
