Hello all

I am having a recent issue with my remote start every so often it decides it’s not going to work.
I’ll hit the button twice and it will only flash once and go no further. I’ve tried locking and unlocking the door and retrying and nothing. It’s starting to get colder up here so with it not working every so often it’s a pain. My Jl is a 21 with the turbo motor.
Any thoughts?

thank you

Do you have the Mopar/UConnect app? (on your phone)
It shows you errors and vehicle conditions that might prevent a remote start.
My 2 cents

The fuel can be low or with the three that I have you can only remote start twice, then you have to physically start. If we remote start today and never go anyplace, the next day it will not start remotely unless you start from inside car.

I'm having the same issue, it just started recently. The issue seems to only occur upon first start in the morning and then works fine the rest of the day after I manually push-button start it. I got a hlf tank of fuel, no dash alarms are present. I plan to take it in to the dealer to test both AUX/main batteries asap. Did you ever determine the cause of the issue?

If you've had the doors off, make sure all the connectors are snug/reseat them?

Check batteries in Jeep. Mine were going bad, everything worked, just sometimes after sitting they would act up.

This is the issue, see video. Dealer advised the main battery is testing at 60%, didn’t check the aux due to limited availability on manpower. I’m returning in another week to get aux tested, replaced if needed at that time. It seems the aux might be failing and also drawing down the main. Maybe after driving around(alternator charging batteries) is why the remote starts works throughout the day and issue only happens on the initial morning start up. No alarms present on dash, start/stop seems to with fine.

mine does the same has the AUX battery replaced and it is still doing it the stop start also does not work. had it in the deal every week for two and a half month and they could not find the problem. Drives me crazy it is winter and that is why i have remote start so I don't have to go out and start it.
