2020 JLUR with 37s and an 8-speed here; I went with 5.13s and have no regrets.

OP - what transmission do you have? The MT will respond differently to a given ratio vs an 8 speed for example.

37s and committed to 488s — but amazingly comfortable with the stock 410s.

My little TJ had 33s and 456s, and my JL dramatically outperforms it in every way including grunt off the line, so I’m feeling less pressure to regear. I’ll probably upgrade the brakes (ouch!) before swapping gears.

I am running 37’s on my JLR 3.6, automatic and I’m fine with 4.10’s for now. It is not a DD’r and I will not waste money re-gearing these Rubi D44’s which are at their limit on my rig, IMO. My 2 dr. weighs 5,100 lbs fully loaded which is right at rated capacity.
If I can get a hold of the new improved D44 take offs being talked about(392 or Mojave maybe), I will re-gear them to 4.88. The Rubicon 4/1 transferase,8 spd. auto and 4.88’s will be fine. If I had JLU’s+300 lbs., larger capacity and or larger tires, it would tip the scales to 5.13’s.

Ordered 4.88's and we will see how it goes on 315/70R17's. (Good to know if I step up in tire size though!)
Youll love it with 35s. You'll be over geared and it will crawl extra slow off road and set you up perfect for 37s.
