I recently put 315s/2” lift on my Rubicon 4xe and while not terrible, I do see a decline in overall performance that I’d rather not have. I am contemplating going to 4.56 or 4.88. Would 4.88 be over geared for 315s (noting I may or may not go with 37sat some point)?

thanks.

I vote 4.88. youll be happy and see a difference. Great for 35's and OK for 37's. If you commit to 37's I would recommend 5.13 but dont go deeper than that in stock axles. Most of it comes down to how you wheel, daily drive and how the rig feels in general.

If your going to drop the coin, I’d do 4.88s.

note, there’s a current issue with adjusting the ratio over 4.49 on the 4xe with Tazer (per a post here).

may want to make sure that’s sorted before pulling the trigger.

spoke with zAuto yesterday, it is still an issue that hasn’t been resolved.
