Instead of making myself nuts comparing Wolfbox choices, I’m down to 3 and looking for your opinion.

I see the technical differences. Mirror size, memory, resolution etc. Is it worth double the $$ for the pro? I run dual tops so I’ll probably mount the rear on top of the 3rd brake light if that’s a concern. Reviews are great online for all. Only other concern is the App Store ratings for the Wolfbox iOS app. Generally meh.
Thanks, Jeff
Jeff, I am partial to the G900 Pro Bumper Version, as I have no need for an in-cabin view of my back seat. I do have a need for a bumper cam though; I mounted mine on my bull bar. My rear camera I mounted on top of the OEM camera cover. For 5-tire rotations, I just unplug the camera and remove the OEM camera cover, then reinstall when finished.

Only you can make a cost-need-benefit analysis for yourself. I love my system. For full disclosure, Wolfbox gave it to me in exchange for an honest and detailed review. If I thought it was crap, I would say so. However, I like it so much I would have no problem paying full price for the kit.

Bigger means more loss of visor functionality.

Yeah. I just ordered the g930 smaller 10”. It had everything I wanted. My first dashcam so I’m sure it'll be good. I just get wrapped up with “this feature is only $40 more mentality”. Then wind up spending twice what I intended to.

Looks like I’m a bit late to chime in here, you’ve paired it down to 3. I use VIOFO 2 channel. The camera is on the right side of the eyesight and runs a cable on top of the roll bar to the back window. I have a large capacity micro sd card and every so often purge it. There is a large emergency lock footage button to access and it auto locks at impact or jolts (like large potholes -which is why I purge)

Just finished the install of the Wolfbox g930. Gotta say I’m impressed. Also bought the 930 oem bracket OEM 930 bracket and the JL specific mount. Mount 179 So no rubber bands holding it in place. Also picked up the 3rd brake light rear camera mount from Etsy. Etsy mount Solved the problem for where to mount it for dual tops and tire rotation.

Thanks to the people on this forum I was able to knock it out quickly. @wibornz has a great video I used for the wiring in the fusebox. YouTube

Good stuff.

I bought a Mercylion after seeing a few close calls on the road, and it's already paid for itself with the peace of mind. As the best 4k mirror dash cam, it's compact enough to hide behind the mirror and the footage has been crystal clear.
