Rear tire cargo rack

Looking for a rack I can store my inflatable kayak bag when traveling. A hitch hauler would be too low for off road. The weight of the kayak with accessories is 85lbs. Appreciate any input!

A rack attached to the rear tire probably won't be a good idea if it will be holding 85 lbs. That and the spare will well exceed the weight capacity of the tailgate. You could add a tailgate reinforcement kit. Then again, those racks are so high to clear the spare you might as well get a roof rack cargo tray. At least that won't block your rear-view mirror.
