Yes, I have 35s mounted and also a relocation bracket, had that installed with the lift. Not looking forward to take the spare off...:lipssealed::LOL:
If I may ask, why the need to locate the vents? Also, I was looking at my photo and my spare tires relocation bracket covers up most of my vent..

Just a thought but that may be adding to your issue?

I have a soft top so it’s not a big deal for me.

I wonder if the bracket is blocking more of the vent than stock, cutting down the air flow out of the vent; increasing air pressure on the glass.
Also, do you have anything mounted on the inside of the tailgate (table, etc.). Blocking off the vent even more.

Nope, nothing else mounted. And from the looks if it, the cutouts on my mount are even larger.

Well it is just a thought to see if it is blocked and that caused the pressure to pop the window.

The dealer has ordered the window glass.

Just to be safe so there is no question, I’d remove your spare/carrier/reloc bracket before bringing it in.

I doubt the dealership would come up with the scenario such as mine but ya never know. Anything can be used as an excuse to not cover under warranty.

However, MOST dealerships want your repeat business so who knows..

I just noticed mine blocks quite a bit and figured I’d mention it. I do notice my soft top windows proofing out quite a bit when I shut the tailgate now. Maybe my reloc bracket is the cause.. Doesn’t bother me though.

Hope I’ve helped in some way and I hope you get this covered and have no issues!

Dealership is contacted and the service manager is at least cooperative. We had sent him all the pictures and the video and he tries to cut the process short. Obviously the window won't make it through the drive to the dealership and I don't want to "leave" the car at the dealer ship until the part comes. I asked them to order it no matter what and I deal with whether it is a warranty case or if I have to pay for it.
Does anybody know where the vents are in the JL?
I am still shocked as the rear window hatch is not locked and only held in place by the rear hatch. With the gasket all a round you would think at the very least that would give and let air out before the window blows out. Or who would have though that the canvas sliding roof is air tight??? I even asked my wife if by chance she and my son closed both doors at the same time, maybe just coincidence. But she said he was not even in the car, she was just picking him up.
How is the front windshield that tight??? I mean it is a Jeep, you can take the doors off, fold the windshield down and have a full canvas roof … it just does not make any sense. But I too believe it was a bad pane … has to be … when the new one is in I will add a black American flag decal on both those windows … may add some rigidity ...
Hi Schwabe,
We're truly sorry to hear that this happened. Please send us a private message if you need additional assistance while your dealer works on this repair.

I’m going through a similar problem. My 2019, 2 door sport has a vertical crack going down the driver rear window. Close to the rear of the window. I took it back to the dealer within 24 hours after purchase. The dealership will not replace the window because they said someone tried to break into my Wrangler. The vehicle had only been in my garage. I had not driven it yet.
