I bought the Expedition shelf, after seeing it installed on a couple other members rigs. I wasn't looking for something to hold a large amount of stuff and I wanted one that mounted pretty high, so that it would not interfere with either our dog or other stuff we might carry. I really like it. It wasn't that expensive, even it was shipped from Poland, and it was here VERY quickly.

I have both the shelves from Expedition. I love them. Bigger one isn't fun to assemble, but the installation is super easy for both. Solid. No rattles. Adjustable. Look good. No complaints

Does the top expedition shelf fold down for loading, or do you just shove stuff up there?

Hey Bob:

These all look like great products and cargo baskets may be your thing: that's perfectly cool.

But before you "pull the trigger" please at least consider where something like the GPCA Cargo cover may be a better option (it may not for you.)

https://expedition-gear.com/en_US/p/Cargo-shelf-Jeep-Wrangler-JLU/81

The reason I say this is this heavy duty grade cover can (and secure) carry objects on but, but also easily tuck away if you have to haul something in the cargo area that's too tall fit with a basket installed.

Food for thought.
this looks like it ships from Poland ? and is i foldable half way through ? that's awesome if it is ...

I have the Vector. The basket design lets you pack things in and not worry about them falling out. It doesn't impair your rear vision either which was a big plus.
Also, four wing nuts and you can remove it if you need to carry something tall in the rear area.

I have begun to look at these products and have it down to two, though I’m open to other suggestions.

The first is the Vector storage basket.

The other is the Expedition shelf and cargo shelf. This allows for two shelves at about the same cost as the Vector product.

Anyone using either setup and have any thoughts?
I have the Expedition Shelf and really like it. Plus their customer service is top notch. I mounted it as high as it would go to help with visibility and initially thought about doing the double-shelf setup, but chose against it and I've been happy.

I also have the GCPA cargo cover and like it, but wouldn't put more than just groceries on it.

I have the Expedition shelf too and echo previous comments about install, quality, and customer service.

Though that adjustable one posted a few up from Amazon looks cool.
