Advice needed about cargo area shelf

Can you post photos with the trunk door closed, and preferably top off? Does it prevent people from reaching in to the cargo area when the top is off? Thanks.

It's not a secure thing. There is no back to it and so any thief would be able to simply put the back seats down and reach in to get whatever is in the back. In any event, there is about an inch gap in the rear and about a 2 inch gap between the shelf and the back seats. I hope this helps.

I hate to ask but can you measure off the floor? I really want to know if a 50QT ARB Fridge with slide would fit under it. Looking at the pictures it will be close.

Thanks! I ordered two yesterday and hope they fit over the fridge. Fridge is 20” and I was told the slide adds 1”. So I should have 1/8” to spare! If not I’m gonna mod something up for the trip.

Can you raise the shelf by pl;acing washers or some such under the bolts on either side? It seems like you need to raise it abotu an inch perhaps?

Man that sucks. I just got mine in and installed and I'm really impressed by the quality and fit. And I'm probably the opposite of you. I'd like to drop mine down an inch or so.

I agree that the fit and finish of this cargo shelf is a great value and I’m really happy with it. I did add some spacers and raised it about 1 1/4” but the fridge still will not fit. I’m heading to moab and Co in about a week so I ordered a DFG Offroad slide and hope it gets in in time. It only raised the fridge 1” so it will fit.

When I get back I’m going to list my arb slide for sale with the straps. It’s sucks but what you gonna do.

Hope the new slide get to you in time for the trip. I'm headed to southern Utah at the end of August and the shelf was in preparation for that.

Installed the Hooke Road shelf this weekend but had to take it off because the soft top won’t fold down. Not a surprise but I wanted to confirm. I’ll add it as needed. Just takes a few minutes to install. As others have said, the fit and finish is really nice and it’s heavy duty for sure. Hard to beat for the price.

Its is a nice setup. I have to remove mine for daily driving as my dog goes to work with me every day. I'm gonna look for some wing nuts for tool free install and removal.
