I ended up going with the Joytus. I had the Hooke Road Carge Basket and it was fine. It rattled a bit but tightening the bolts every once in a while would help. This issue was it hung too low and prevented some of my gear from fitting. The Joytus is a pain to install but hasn't rattled at all in the last few months. The thing I don't like about the Joytus (and most other similar products) is the short height of the railing around it. The Hooke Road version is about three inches tall so even if something got loose, it isn't going anywhere. I might just bolt on some railing front and back. For now, my stuff fits underneath and no rattles so key problems solved.

Let us know how it goes. It appears to have just a low and high setting, correct?

Any update? How do you like it? I've been eyeing this same one. I like the adjustable height for various applications.

No issues, no rattling, no bolts loose as of now. I still wish the side railing were higher but haven't done anything about it. I have soft bags I put up there and use the stretch netting from the Hooke Road and no movement. The install was a little more fiddly than expected. I had to loosen a few things (despite instructions) and then wiggle things around to line up and tighten. But once done, I haven't had to touch it since.

Awesome, thanks for the update! I think I'll give this one a try!

All right well I went ahead and bought it and got it installed. I also have no issues with rattling whatsoever. Seems pretty solid!

Like you said the sides aren't high, but I think for my purposes it'll be fine. I do wish it had dedicated tie down spots versus just using the random design holes.

The only thing I don't like is how difficult it is to adjust- I had to basically do a leg press to get it in the up attic position. But I probably won't be adjusting it too frequently.

When up, it does take away some of your rearview but you can still see what you need to. Overall, I'm pleased with it.

Looks good! I don't use it in the up position ever as I have my soft bags. I use these eye bolts elsewhere in my build and plan to put them on this when spring arrives. You can get them at Home Depot for way less.
