Exactly.

From what dealer? I paid $43K for my 2021 JLR 2.0 turbo, auto, body hardtop, aux switches, trailer tow package, SS sill guards, remote keyless. But I've got to sell it and get a 2022 JLR with front camera. I ordered mine is Spokane, WA.
If you just want the camera, have you considered Tazers camera package?

Order that bad boy from Gupton Motors in TN. With the deals they are offering, you may be able to swing for all the goodies on your wish list. Search the forum for specifics, but I know the prices have increased across the board for all options.

Hello,

FNG here. I am looking to trade my 2020 RAM for a JLU. My wife and I no longer need the truck. Her daily driver is 2020 JLU Rubicon which is a fantastic vehicle. I enjoy driving it on occasion. My question is this: Which one would be the 'best deal' for someone who would be using the Jeep as a daily driver and mainly does light off roading up around logging areas and would be taking the Jeep out clamming on the beaches. Possible towing a small utility trailer as well.

Option 1: 2022 Willy's JLU with the 3.0 liter diesel. It has the 26W pkg with the anti-spin, LED headlights and fog lights and hard top. Price is $50,040

Option 2: 2022 Rubicon JLU with the 2.0L gas motor. It has the 8.4" radio and premium group, off road plus mode, F&R lockers, halogen headlights. Price is $50,755.

I am really torn between the two. I am leaning toward the Rubicon but the the Diesel and the LED headlights on the Willys are causing me pause. $50,000 is around my budget. I am soliciting advice. Please feel free to chime in.
As others have said, if you can stand the wait you should be able to get more for your money. I got a JLU Sport Altitude w/ 8.4" Radio & Alpine, Cold Weather, LED Headlight, LSD, Safety Group, Dual Top Group, Towing Package for $47k out the door. Have a set of Rubicon take-off suspension and new LCAs sitting in my garage that was a total of about $200. At that point, the only difference between the Willys and my Altitude would be the wheels & tires (I think).

Might let you get everything you want without sacrificing!

These are both great Jeeps and you will be happy with whatever you get. For me, the big difference is the Diesel. If you really want the Diesel, then the Willys is a great build.

Wayne, Get your self a nice build platform.....Look you already have a daily driver Rubicon in the family. Buy yourself the least expensive Jeep Wrangler you can find.... and build from there. I know most folks on this forum goes for the Rubicon with all the bells and whistles. But, what they don't have is a well built high clearance offroad vehicle, that is stable on all terrain. I suggest you find a friend or a shop with a well built Jeep Wrangler with a min of 72" Full floater axles, 40" tires, a quaulity long arm suspension kit, roll cage, and take a ride on tough obstacles. This type of Jeep will feel planted, more stable, more comfortable, and is a blast to drive. Put your money into the bells and whistles that will get you home safely. But, be aware..........you will now be the person helping out your friends and family get their vehicles unstuck and repaired to get them back home.

What's the Tazers camera package? I have the smaller screen. I have a pretty good camera but I'm guessing the bigger screen and trail camera are far superior.

Do you drive at least 20-30 miles at a time? If you only drive short trips, the diesel will have a hard time doing a full regen when the time comes.

I actually do drive that far. My daily commute is 22 miles each way.

I'm often occupied, by many things, often at the same time
You already have access to a JLU, so sounds like you need a 2021 two-door Rubicon for $40k with about 12k miles on it.

Well IMHO keep the RAM as soon as you think you no longer need a truck; then you need one. LOL always happens. Also if you're not in a hurry-you should order from manufacturer what you want when it comes to your Jeep- I did this for my 2021 JLUR and my 2021 Ram, don't settle for what's on the lot if it's too inconsistent. also, fyi when you consider the diesel-consider the number of fill-ups when it comes to the DEF-they are not consistent for everyone or every location. Good Luck on your choice whatever it may be.

Maybe a Gladiator would be the best choice.

To give you some idea, with an order, you should be able to get at least 1% under invoice. Invoice on the Willy's would be $47,963, so right around $47,500. Invoice on the Rubi would be $48,272, so $47,800.

Note, neither appear to have the tow group, which includes the hitch, wiring, and the aux switches (plus upsized electrical). So you'll need to add that aftermarket (either Mopar or others).
Take the rubicon but have the dealer
add tow/aux pkg
