I have yet to find any agreement on exactly what the Willys suspension components are: some say it’s the Rubicon suspension; some say just the Rubi shocks but not the springs; some say it’s just the rear shocks that are the Rubi shocks.
Have any Willys owners climbed under there to see what the spring numbers are, what the shocks are on all four corners, or taken them off for a lift and found out what the real answer is?

It’s a sport suspension with rubicon shocks, with heavy duty brakes.
I believe this is correct. My Willys spring numbers are: 68253+ 658/659 587/588, which are not Rubi springs, from what others have posted on here. The shocks are the same weird red things as the Rubi's.

There are a few exceptions to this rule through, I own a EcoDiesel and my springs are 3665AD (Front) and 3601AA (Rear). From what I can tell reading through older spring threads, the 3601AA is standard fitment for all diesels (Willys/Rubicon alike), but the front springs are different between trim levels of diesels.

I couldn't find much information on the 3665AD springs, so someone else may be able to chime in here. Below are links to threads that I referenced, as well as a couple photos of my stock Willys diesel.

Can confirm. Just took my springs and shocks out yesterday after I installed my lift. Sport springs and rubicon shocks.

Agreed. I crawled under mine awhile back. The spring numbers are the same as a Sport and the shocks are the same part numbers as a Rubicon.
