  1. Who will switch to the Hurricane engine when it replaces the 392?

Not this guy. The sound is half of the equation for me. I'm talking real exploding dinosaurs too, nothing artificial.
  2. 2024 392 Suspension & Shocks Recommendation: Stay Stock or Upgrade?

I came from a Gladiator Mojave and one of my reasons for trading it was because of the factory Fox shocks being squeaky. It is a somewhat common problem, with numerous threads over at the Gladiator forums discussing. The dealership wouldn't look at them unless there was visible leakage, and the...
  3. My 392 Gets Better Gas Mileage Than My 3.6

I average 17.4 MPG in my 392 with Clayton Performance Springs and 37" KO2 (truly a ~35.75"). We mostly cruise around back roads as my wife and I work from home and rarely get on the expressway. My 3.6 Mojave got slightly less MPG, and my 5th Gen 4Runner on 33" averaged 14.5 MPG with it's 4.0L...
  4. Can we talk about the 2024 392 red seats?

Thanks for sharing Scott. I stand corrected! 🤘
  5. Can we talk about the 2024 392 red seats?

Wild to see that image, and how similar the design is the 13' 10th Anniversary Rubicon I had in ~2015. If I still owned that JK, I'm sure I would have had a matching 20th Anniversary on order. Note, the community referred to them as "10A's" back then, but I haven't seen "20A" used in...
  6. Dead Battery on 2 week old 392 Rubicon! Any Help Appreciated!

Do you by chance have a Tazer plugged into your Jeep. I had the same issue on my 392 and it ended up being an issue with how I did the cycling of the system following the changed tire size. I removed the Tazer for a few months and had no issues. Plugged it back in, and completed the...
  7. Love the sound of the 392! Matt's Off-Road Recovery takes one on a recovery

I'm wondering if they use it as a rental Jeep for the building, but more or less treat it as a personal vehicle for Jamie when not in use. It would be a good tax write off, as the GVWR is >6,000 Lbs. So probably best they refer to it as the rental on videos if thats it's intended use. This is...
  8. 392 Non-XR Actual Height?

I just measured my 22' 392 (non-XR), which has 35x12.5 KO2, which is truly a 34.5". The stock tire diameter is 32.7" (285/70R17 KO2). This places the difference at 1.8", or ~ 1" of lift. It wasn't a perfect measurement, but I saw 75.5", which is in line with the measurement you found of 74.5"...
  9. Thoughts on 2024 & new 392 features

Some nice updates in the refresh, but that new grill is absolutely atrocious in my opinion. The slots are far too short compared to the the 2018-2023 JL appearance. Almost has a Renegade look to it. Perhaps its just the camera angle in this picture, but the change also makes the bumper and...
  10. Official: 2024 Jeep Wrangler Facelift Refresh Gets Major Updates & Upgrades!

Some nice updates in the refresh, but that new grill is atrocious in my opinion. The slots are far too short compared to the the 2018-2023 JL appearance. Almost has a Renegade look to it. Perhaps its just the camera angle in this picture, but the change makes the bumper and plastic skid plate...
  11. Best Highway MPGs (Tires/Ratio)

22' 392 - stock 3.73 Gears & 35" K02. I don't drive the expressway often, but do a lot of cruising around at 55 MPH. I'm averaging 14.8 MPG and often have MDS disabled over the duration of the ride by manually shifting. At least once in the 45 minutes are so ride I'll get on it on OR+ as well...
  12. 2023 Rubicon 392 needed in Sanford, FL - FREE TUNE!

Someone take advantage of this offer pronto! Always great to see competition in the marketplace pushing innovation! Mike, appreciate the interest in our somewhat niche subset of JLs. If you have a way to disable MDS without a full tune and PCM unlock, you would have quite a bit of interest and...
  13. M.O.R.E. Oil Pan Skid Plate: how do I drain the oil with this thing on?

I purchased the MORE Off-Road Aluminum skid plate a couple months back. Since install I haven't needed to do an oil change, but I'll likely swap to the valve for cleaner oil changes in the future. I was quite impressed with the quality of the welds, and overall quality of the finish of the...
  14. Has anyone run regular octane gas in their 392?

No. The piece of mind when I put the skinny down is worth the extra $20 at fill-up.
  15. What’s your other car??

The 392 checks many boxes as a daily driver, but I also have a 64' Cobra and 19' Alfa Romeo Giulia in the mix of weekend fun or practical trips.
  16. Borla Exhaust R&D Vehicle Needed: '21 Wrangler Rubicon 392

Ditto, I was planning to purchase an Atak in black and estimated pricing to be ~$1,700 USD, maybe 2k.. They must have put a lot of R&D into the setup, or perhaps the cost to keep the factory dual-mode exhaust inflated the price. I'm sure it's a great system, but a bit too rich for my blood...
  17. Protect Catalytic Converter From Theft?

Hello all! I am looking for any recommendations to protect the exposed cats in the 392 from theft. I frequently take my Jeep to remote trail heads to ride my dirt bike, and it's a prime target for theft. I see RockHard4x4 has a full body skid plate that covers them, but I'm wondering if there...
  18. Michigan OEM JL LED Taillights

    Sold to dmc3csc. Closing thread.
  19. Michigan OEM JL LED Taillights

I'd really like to help out man, but I'd prefer to keep them as a ready to go pair. Have you checked out eBay by chance? Every once and a while a damaged unit is listed and they go pretty dang cheap. Not sure what the previous owner was thinking putting a bolt in, very odd. Common sense would...
  20. Michigan Sold: OEM JL LED Taillights

For sale are a pair of OEM LED Tail Lights for any JL (non BSM). They're a straight forward plug and play replacement. I ran these for a few months on my JL Willys Diesel before trading it in for a JT Mojave. All the plastics are in great condition with the exception of some micro scratches on...
