Hey, your little scheme worked, you milked 10-20 for your "inconvenience" plus $50 more hush money. Who do you think will pay for that in the end?

I was returning the item and giving them bad press because what they did was simply bad business. I received a call after my post from the management and they did what any business should do, FIX THE ISSUE.

Amazon hands down, HANDS DOWN has the best return experience and refund experience out there, no one is even close.
I might not speak to an american when I call them but they do overnight a product free of charge for me and yes give me a credit usually.

This company gave me 50 bucks because I was upset and they made their customer happy.

Amazon is a marketplace. Amazon makes money by charging sellers to use its platform.

All those "generous" returns are not paid by Amazon but forced upon the sellers. That's why most US 4x4 and small companies refuse to sell on its platform. That's why Amazon is full of fakes and illegal copies but they don't care. They get their cut and then they overcharge sellers. Kind of like what you did.

for the record I never bought a thing for my rigs I've had other than odd end stuff like recovery stuff. anything big suspension wise or tires is always other places

Quadratec made him more than whole, but his thread is still "stay away". One can never make these people happy.

EDIT*** I was going to delete this thread but publicity good and bad is never wrong so...

I just received a call from them again and maybe they saw this thread but they are now giving me a 50.00 gift card (for there store) and overnighting me a new kit.. Which IMO is exactly what should be done. so I have to give them credit, while it took maybe this thread or me complaining to the customer service rep I spoke with, they are doing the right thing.

First time buyer from them, ordered a basic 300 dollar 1.75" spacer lift.

Took work off to install today and sure enough its missing 2 of the 4 spacer sleeves for the shock extensions. I called them and since they literally manufacture it themselves and do not drop ship it, they could simply overnight me the missing spacers. lol the gentlemen I spoke with said "someone must have made a mistake and not put them all in there and all I can do is a full return and reorder"

I mean, this to me is why Amazon is such a dominating company, I figured I'd give this Quadratec a shot but talk about horrible customer service.

so I should be punished, they will make me do a full return, won't ship the new one any faster so again, next week now lol. ridiculious

oh and BTW how do they know the next "batch" won't have the missing pieces either...

From my buying experience I haven't had any problems with Quadratec, other people have, I get it. Try to get in touch with their customer service and the rep on the forum, they will help you. Try to work with them. There's a product I want to purchase from Quadratec that has been out of stock over 4 months. There's nothing they can do; orders are backed up in China. Try to be patient, practice good communication skills, we are so quick to bash someone these days. Something else to consider; do you know who pays the bills to the JL Wrangler forum? Sponsors, like Quadratec pay them.

I am now in contact with a customer support representee from Quadratec, I will be posting something regarding Quadratec in the very near future, I hope I can I count on your support to make Quadratec great again, ok my friend?

I too have had the opposite experience with Quadratec. Ordered a fairly pricey bit of merchandise (new shocks, I think it was) that never arrived, despite an email saying they had been delivered. Called and they said, we'll ship another immediately and if the first one ever arrives, please send it back at our expense. It never did. They also let me pick out some swag (shirts, hats, etc.) for my trouble.

Quadratec has great customer service, but they are definitely not my favorite place to order from. Maybe it's because the website is so goddamn ugly. I do enjoy watching their videos though, Rob is great and I love his charisma. I typically try to order everything from Northridge 4x4 or Morris 4x4 (RIP :().

Glad they made it right for you, and good luck on your spacer install.

It never ceases to amaze me that people are so blinded over someones experience.. What I wrote is exactly what happened. The "service rep" wasn't doing anything personal, the companies policy is to return the product and order a new one.

How is that not a shit policy ?? and for what its worth, i received the new kit today and guess what, this kit is also missing the same exact 2 spacer sleeves, so if I followed the policy I'd be in the same exact position 2 weeks after my inital order.

Finally, this company literally makes the products themselves they design, manufacture and ship the items, this is one of the reviews on the website

Ok, but do you see how Quadratec having a "shit policy" and you posting "STAY AWAY" are two totally different things? Forgive me if my last post sounded asshole-ish, but your entire post comes off as very "Karen" when you could have simply made people aware of a "shit policy", as you put it. There's no need to take things to that level.

I had an issue with a Quadratec winch plate and they went way out of their way to make it right. Emailed me a return label but said no rush, whenever I get to it, and sent out a new one immediately. Had it in a day or two! The reps I spoke with were super courteous and knowledgable. I was frankly surprised at how responsive they were - sorry you had a bad experience, but I can't say enough about how they treated me!

I had a really crummy experience with Quadratec last year.
Many promises of "asking the manufacturer" every week I called customer service, then finally when I gave up returning was a pain in the but when the product got rusty just sitting on a well drained patio table.
I'll be buying from Amazon whenever I can now unfortunately.
It's a shame because they're pretty close to me so I'd prefer to support a local business but I'm too car poor to be risking return eligibility and paying for shipping...
