What oil did you use then?PUP is not the cure all nor will make your jeep engine last longer than you keep your jeep.
Nobody drives their jeep harder than I, though there are a few who change their oil 5 times a year like I do. I doubt any of the 117,000 miles ever used PUP. The only oil that has shown results to me is R&P. Because of it, I have no problem sharing that as a fact that anyone will see during their 1st 3 oil changes, when monitoring filter and oil samples.
Got my jeep with 83k on ODO from a dealer, in July 2024, that had obtained it from an April 2024 trade in. Service records show under warrenty maintenance. Don't think dealers had used PUP. Since it is an early 2019 that got sold in May 2022, with around 2 years of unknown oil use history other than dealer oil. I thought I was bad with 35k per year... the original owner really had a lot of seat time around Huston Texas. What oil did you use then?
So how come flukes always favor PUP, not Amsoil or Driven? And in Lake Speed Jr's last video, PUP 0W-40 beat the crap out of Amsoil. So how come flukes always favor PUP? No, the fact is that it is not a fluke, it's just a better oil. Do 10 tests in a row, and PUP will beat Scamsoil and Driven every single time. Because it is an oil made by a gargantuan company that knows what the hell it's doing, while Amsoil and Driven are made by tree shade blenders. Shell is the Toyota of motor oil. Here are the results from the vid. You can see all wear metals are 1-2 ppm from each other. As usual all oils are statistically identical in wear metals on UOA’s. Wrong tool to compare oils. A UOA is used to monitor for internal engine problems and for oil service life. These vids are clickbait and a UOA sales pitch.

You can’t rank oil based a few ppm difference in wear metals. Every UOA company will tell you there’s no difference between brands. Viscosity, engine type, and engine use have more effect on wear metals than the brand. No official wear study uses UOA’s.So how come flukes always favor PUP, not Amsoil or Driven? That's why I asked you, how come it's always PUP that shows less wear? It could be a coincidence once, twice, not every single time. No it is not a coincidence, if Lake does 100 tests in his Porsche, PUP will do better every single time. Are you telling us that the Universe is conspiring to make sure that PUP's wear metal show up less every single time? You can’t rank oil based a few ppm difference in wear metals. A UOA doesn’t show engine deposits which are more likely to kill an engine than wearing out.
1-2 ppm isn’t less wear. It’s statistically the same. It’s within the margin of error. I’ve seen VOA’s with more standard deviation in iron than 1-2 ppm. That's why I asked you, how come it's always PUP that shows less wear? It could be a coincidence once, twice, not every single time. So why is that margin of error always in favor of PUP?1-2 ppm isn’t less wear. It’s statistically the same. It’s within the margin of error.
It’s not. In fact I have a PUP VOA with more iron.So why is that margin of error always in favor of PUP?
Compared to what, Amsoil? Show us!!!!!!!!It’s not. In fact I have a PUP VOA with more iron.
