...nothing surprising...fair amount of highway miles at higher speeds...I don't feel the need for another one at this point. mopar oil and air filter.

was brought to my attention on BITOG that viscosity appears not to be accurate ie too high....seems to be a common occurrence that BS is not all that accurate with various tests including fuel dilution and viscosity...

Yes Blackstone has accuracy problems with viscosity and fuel dilution.
I emailed BS and they stood by their viscosity rating...I am going to call it good and be happy with the results....I feel no need for anymore sample testing for at least another 50,000 miles or so :)

Hello Jeff,

Thanks for the email! We don't expect every sample of PUP 0W/20 to measure exactly the same in viscosity, which is why we have an allowable range for it (6.0 cSt to 9.7 cSt here, which is the typical range that we have for 0W/20 oil in general). I also was able to find the SDS for Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W/20, and it looks like the expected viscosity is 8.8 mm^2/s (or 8.8 cst). Your sample's viscosity is reading right where we would hope to see it then. If you have any additional questions about the viscosity, just let us know!

Sincerely,
Luke Vance
