Hi, we are completely new to owning a Jeep. We just purchased a new 24' Willy's 4 door with the 3.6L and the dealer installed a 2" Mopar lift with Fox shocks and steering stabalizer along with 35" tires. We love it!
I do have a few questions
1. The front end sits about an inch higher than the rear, I measured from the top of each tire to the bottom of the fender. Is this normal and any way to adjust it?
2. The speedometer is off, it reads 3mph slower than you are actually going at 40mph and about 5mph slower at 75mph. I'm assuming this is a simple programming change for the tires that the dealer can do and should've done to begin with?
3. If the dealer didn't change programming for the 35" tires, is there any other programming that should be done when adding the lift and tires? Transmision shift points or anything?

Thank you!

1) Measure from the bottom edge of the wheel, straight up to the edge of the fender.

2&3) Get yourself a Taser Mini. This will allow you to adjust the tire size yourself and you can dial it in to the closest mph.

Taser mini w/ extension cable:

The Taser will also allow you to change and adjust many other settings.

Dealer should have put in for the new tire size after replacing them. Probably want to call them up and ask whats going on.

Shouldn't the dealer have dealt with calibration when doing that install?

Yes, but with a Taser installed, you can make all those changes plus many more on your own.
Plus you can dial it in the the exact mph a lot easier than the dealer can.

I won't be doing any programmimg myself while its under warranty, the dealership will recalibrate the speedo. I'm just thinking that if the dealership didn't think to recalibrate the speedo, are there any other programming changes that they normally do when going to 35s that they may have forgot about? Thanks!

The '24 willys has rubicon style high front fenders. Park on a level surface and measure from the ground to the frame. Pretty sure they will be within a quarter inch of each other.

Sounds like you need to invest in some version of programmer. Jscan, Tazer, take your pic.

I understand that a Tazer can be a useful addition, but that's over $300 for something that should have been done by the dealer.

That one recalibration adjusts whatever needs to know about the change. Your transmission will shift better after the recalibration is done.

You will likely have to pay an additional fee to the dealer to “unlock” your VIN with Stellantis. They can’t reprogram themselves without doing it. I went through similar thing last year and after they came back with that after the installation I just went with JScan and did myself.

Update;
Thank you everyone for your help! The dealer reprogrammed for the correct size tire at no cost and the the front end has settled a bit and is now pretty much even with the back, going by the frame to the ground not the fenders.
We took the Jeep to Badlands Off Road Park in Indiana and had a blast, amazed at what aired down 35s and rear locker will do.
I have one more question; Is there a way to change the tire pressure sensor setting so it doesn't come on when aired down? I aired down to 18psi and the low tire pressure warning was up constantly, not a huge issue just a little irritating.

dealer wasn't able to recalculate my jeep after doing the clutch recall this year. by that i mean neither tire size or gear ratio. cause my jeep to be stuck there for 64 days until the great people on this forum helped figure this out.. Id give the dealer a chance and maybe thing have changed yet again.... but if not a tazer or Jscan would be the route to go. your auto transmission needs the correct gear and tire size to figure out how to shift properly and to calculate the speed you are going. Dealer should not have missed this at all
